Final Fantasy XIV's new Dawntrail raids are finally here, and players are working their way through the new Savage variants of Arcadion with the drop of Patch 7.05. This patch includes four new Savage fights to defeat, starting with M1S, and concluding with M4S. With new Savage fights comes new Best-in-Slot gear once all of the fights are cleared that give players the maximum stats.

There are several ways to gear up once players start clearing all four tiers of Savage fights. Best-in-Slot can mean different things to different players. There are always multiple ways to alter your stats based on what your group needs, or your playstyle. As stated in the Dawntrail Jobs tier list, any job can clear the content, and along with that, gear isn't the end-all-be-all of whether you can secure a clear on the last fight of the tier.

While your gear can help give you a boost and help you perform better for your team, Savage content doesn't hinge on you having the best gear in the game with set-in-stone stats that you must have in order to defeat these difficult bosses. So while below are some recommended pieces to pick up on each job as well as how to meld them, realize that your gear can be tweaked based on your own preference and the needs of your party.
