How to Get Cherimoya
With the release of Final Fantasy XIV's newest expansion, Dawntrail, comes a whole new region of the world to explore. There are new zones, new characters, and new quests to take on, some of which require players to seek out elusive items, like Cherimoya. This guide contains all the info you need to acquire Cherimoya, including what you can use it for.
What is Cherimoya?
In-game Description: "Tural's most famed export. Beneath the scaly green skin is a soft, sweet pulp."
Cherimoya is a fruit that can be found in Tural. Despite it's medicinal utility for dry skin, Mamool Ja avoid eating the fruit due to its resemblance to shed scales.
What Can You Use Cherimoya For?
Cherimoya is a key ingredient in the Cherimoya Juice. This beverage is vital for completing the quest, Mon Cherimoya, which is part of the Alchemist/Culniarian Wachumeqimeqi quest line. The higher the quality when creating Cherimoya Juice, the more experience and crafter scrips they can be redeemed for.
Where Can You Get Cherimoya in Dawntrail?
When accepting the quest from Xeerol Ja, she mentions that it can be found at the Bayside Bevy, Tuliyollal's marketplace.
Sure enough, Goplu the Independent Merchant in the vendors' alley (located at X:13.1 Y:12.7) sells Cherimoya! You can buy one for 986 Gil, though you'll need at least 12 to make enough Cherimoya Juice to complete your quest.
