Repossession
Repossession is Franklin's second Mission in IGN's Grand Theft Auto 5 Walkthrough. This guide will highlight the main mission strategies and Gold Medal requirements needed to complete every main story mission. MISSION NOTE: ACCURACY VERSUS TIME
- For better shooting accuracy, equip the Pump Action Shotgun (fully modded) for better shots.
- For shorter mission time, skip all cutscenes and use a semi-automatic rifle for faster kills. Take note that using semi-automatics will lower your shooting accuracy!
- Be aware that in most missions, you will have to sacrifice your shooting accuracy to achieve a lower mission time (and vice versa). Pick and choose which you want to accomplish and then try for the other on a Mission Replay.
PART 1: THE DRIVE
After the cutscene, exit the dealership and take one of the cars (preferably a fast one) and drive it to the waypoint at Vespucci Beach.
MISSION NOTE: SHORTCUT!
At the second stoplight before making a right turn is a series of Metro stop warning signs.
Drive thru those plastic barriers to find a Stunt Jump near the condo building. Make the Stunt Jump to save a few seconds for the mission!
PART 2: THE SEARCH
When you arrive at the destination, exit the car and hop over the metal fence. Walk through the alley with Lamar to see a pickup truck pull up and drive out.
MISSION NOTE: neighborhood watch!
Be aware that the pickup truck is a Vagos lookout truck! If the Vagos in the truck see you equipped with a weapon, the mission will automatically fail.
At the end of the alley are three parking garages. Open the big white door to ?your right in order to trigger a gun fight with some Vago baddies.

PART 3: THE SHOOTOUT
Stay in cover and shoot at the baddies while keeping watch of your health! The Vagos have automatic weapons and Franklin isn't well-prepped with a strong weapon yet!
Move forward to see a large gas tank above the port-a-potty and shoot it to blast the baddie above Lamar.
GOLD MEDAL REQUIREMENTS: "TRAILBLAZER"
Midway during the battle, a blue-colored car will try to leave the area (don't bother shooting at it). Lamar will shoot it down leaving a gas trail. Shoot the gas trail that will caught fire and let it blow up the car (and the rest of the Vagos) to get the Gold.
PART 4: THE CHASE
When you reach the end of the alley, scale the fence again and leap into the car. Begin pursuit of the bike immediately. The motorcycle has a raw speed advantage, but careful use of Franklin’s time-stopping ability in turns will allow you to catch up fairly easily in just a few seconds. Catch up and ram the bike and then take it back.
With the bike in tow, drive it back to the car wash to complete the mission.
