Hotel Assassination
The Hotel Assassination is a Franklin mission in IGN's Grand Theft Auto 5 Walkthrough. PART 1: THE VIEW FROM ACROSS
When the mission begins, drive over to the waypoint at the Von Crastenburg Hotel. From here, you'll have a few options on how to eliminate the target (bombs, drive-bys, etc) but if you want the Gold, you'll have to use the options below.
PART 2: THE ASSASSINATION
GOLD MEDAL REQUIREMENTS: "SNIPER KILL BONUS"
In order to get the bonus, you have to kill the target using the Sniper Rifle. After the cutscene, drive to the roof of the parking lot and wait in the southeast corner (jump above the railing for a better view).
Fortunately, you do NOT need a headshot for the bonus, so just shoot the target as soon as he exits the hotel.
PART 3: THE GETAWAY
Once the target is down, quickly drive out of the garage by using the ramp on the other side of the parking garage (do NOT drive back down to the garage exit).
Jump the ramp to land in front of the golf course and then wait for a few seconds to escape the fuzz and complete the mission.
POST-MISSION REWARD

Not soon after the mission ends, Franklin gives Lester a call and Lester gives the good news that he's purchased a brand new mansion up in Vinewood Hills and wants Franklin to use it! From this point on, Franklin no longer needs to go to the safehouse in Strawberry to save his progress.
