Where to Find the Glider Outfit Set in TotK
Each piece of the Glider Set is located at a distinct type of Sky Island across Hyrule, that appear in the shape of several circular rings high in the air. Each is located not too far from a Skyview Tower, which is the easiest method to reach either the top or bottom of the island structure.
On the bottom platform of each island is a Steward Construct who will ask if you wish to participate in a dive ceremony. This will send you back to the top where you can interact with a device to jump through a ring and fall down through the ring islands.
By diving through each glowing green ring and surviving the fall, you will pass a test and be allowed to a second attempt to complete the ceremony in under 35 seconds. By completing the challenge, you'll be awarded one piece of the Glider Outfit at each island.
The Glide Shirt is located at Courage Island, just to the southwest of Lindor’s Brow Skyview Tower in the Hyrule Ridge region, and is one of the easiest and earliest towers you’ll unlock.
If you look up in the sky once you fast-travel to this tower, you’ll spot Courage Island in the distance, which you can paraglide over to either the top island, or fall down to the lower one with the pool of water.
For this challenge, note the cluster of rocks in the middle of the rings, which will require you to manuever towards the middle to find a small spot to dive through and avoid crashing. Complete it in under 35 seconds to gain the armor piece.
The Glide Tights can be found at Bravery Island, located right above the Lost Woods, but to get there, you’ll want to fast travel to the Thyphlo Ruins Skyview Tower.
Fly south once you launch yourself skyward, and aim to land on the round floating island. You can rotate a stone launcher to catapult yourself the remainder of the way to the island itself.
For this particular island challenge, there are no obstacles to worry about when diving through the rings other than occasional obscuring clouds, so just remember to slow your fall to adjust your fall slightly to hit all the rings. Complete it in under 35 seconds to win the next armor piece.
The Glide Mask is located at Valor Island, far to the east at the South Lanayru Sky Archipelago. To get there, you will need to ascend Mount Lanayru to the South Mount Lanayru Tower, launch yourself up, and then paraglide northwest.
Take a pit stop on the nearby floating island to pick up an airship, and then continue flying all the way towards the giant island off in the distance.
This challenge has lots of thin island pillars that are often obscured by clouds, making it one of the more dangerous challenges to complete. Watch the green light traveling between rings to plot a course, and only dive when you can see what's right below you. Completing it in under 35 seconds will earn this piece of armor.
