Rubber Armor Set Location
- Find the Rubber Armor in Whistling Hill Cave in Hyrule Field
- Find the Rubber Helm in Sarjon Woods Cave in Faron.
- Find the Rubber Tights in Horon Lagoon Cave in Lanayru Great Spring.
Rubber Armor Location
Find the Rubber Armor in Whistling Hill Cave in Hyrule Field. It's just north of Teniten Shrine. You need to break through some rocks to expose the entrance.
Once inside, head deeper into the cave. You'll encounter some vines that can be cut down with a sword (or exploded with a Bomb Flower in a pinch.)
Beyond the vines is a drop, where three Stalkoblins await. Defeat them or run past.
In the next chamber, there's an opening on the right covered in vines with a hidden treasure chest--this is not the Rubber Armor, though!
Across the way is where you need to go. The easiest way to get there is to drop down and use Ascend below the ledge.
Just up the way is an armored Like Like. Shoot it with an arrow attached to a Bomb Flower to make it vulnerable to attack. To force it to expose its weak point, shoot it with a fire fruit attached to an arrow.
Continue up the cave and you'll find yet another Like Like, but this time, it's a Shock Like. Shoot it with a fire fruit attached to an arrow to force it to show its weak point and whack it until it's defeated.
Behind the Shock Like is a pile of rocks blocking a path. Break them to find the chest with the Rubber Armor inside.
Rubber Helm Location
Find the Rubber Helm in Sarjon Woods Cave in Faron.
The cave mouth is by a river in the jungle. Just inside are some vines blocking your path, but they're easily cut away by a slashing weapon like a sword. The inside of the cave is fairly straightforward to navigate despite how it first appears. There are actually ledges on the side of the subterranean river you can stand on. If you see a Horriblin, stand aside and shoot them down with an arrow--they'll drown upon hitting the water.
You may be tempted to make a boat or contraption, but you can make it to your destination just by swimming and taking breaks off to the side every so often. Eventually, you'll reach a series of rapids that lead to a waterfall. This is where you'll find the Bubbulfrog.
Don't worry if you miss it. Once you're below, you can still hit the Bubbulfrog if you attach a Keese Wing to an arrow. Below the falls is also where you'll find the prize you seek: The Rubber Helm in a chest.
Rubber Tights Location
Find the Rubber Tights in Horon Lagoon Cave in Lanayru Great Spring. The cave entrance is a hole on the ground in the middle of the lagoon. Jumping down it lands you in a pool of water below.
There's a few Horriblin in this cave. Shoot them in the head with an arrow to cause them to fall to their watery death below. Other than those enemies, this cave is fairly straightforward. The gimmick is that the water level rises and falls, making it safe to swim over spikey barricades when the water level is high. Really though, you can take the few hits of damage and swim over them anyway. You'll pass a Bubbulfrog on your way to the end.
On the platform and the seeming dead end, look around. There's a pile of breakable rocks blocking a path above you.
Shoot it with a Bomb Flower arrow to break it, allowing you to climb in from below. Inside the hidden crevice are the Rubber Tights.
