How to Get the Zora Armor Set
In this Tears of the Kingdom guide, we will show you exactly how to collect all three pieces of the Zora Armor Set.
Restoring the Zora Armor
The first step to collecting all the Zora Armor pieces involves restoring the Zora Armor. Restoring the Zora Armor is one of the additional main quests that tie into the Regional Phenomena quest in Zora's Domain.
Speak to Yona by the sludge-covered statue in the center of Zora's Domain to being The Sludge-Covered Statue. She will say that the statue needs to be cleaned of the sludge, which you can do using Splash Fruit.
Return to her once again and tell her the statue has been cleaned, this will prompt her to introduce herself as Sidon's fiance and tell you to meet her in the infirmary.
You'll now be able to find her on the second level of Zora's Domain, behind the waterfall, where the baths are.
She'll be in the first pool of water, and you can speak to her to learn more about the Zora Armor. This begins the Restoring the Zora Armor main quest.
How to Complete Restoring the Zora Armor
During the conversation, Yona will explain that the Zora Armor needs to be repaired and all that it's missing is one thing - an Ancient Arowana. She says she hasn't seen any late, and she has no idea where to find one. She does, however, say that Dento the Blacksmith may be able to help and know something about how to get one.
Drop back down to where the sludge-covered statue was, and go behind the water, to the right to find Denton in the back. He'll say that he's heard that they might be near Mipha's Statue, which is near Ploymous Mountain.
How to Get an Ancient Arowana
Instead of making the trek up the mountain, there's an easier way to get Ancient Arowana and that is to go back to the Great Sky Islands. We've marked the place where you can find Ancient Arowana on the map below.
Fast Travel to the Ukouh Shrine and look out towards the northwest towards the water.
Glide over to this location the stand on the bridge to scan around and find some Ancient Arowana.
Once you've got at least one, travel back to Zora's Domain and hand them over to Yona. She'll hurry over to the workshop and reunite Link with the Zora Armor, which increases Link's swim speed and allows him to swim up waterfalls. There is a catch, however, as it won't let you swim up any waterfalls that are tainted by sludge.
Locating the Zora Greaves
Once you have successfully saved the Zora and retrieved Sidon’s pledge, you will be free to start collecting the rest of the Zora Armor set. Head back to Zora’s Domain and speak to Yuna to begin the A Token of Friendship Side Quest.
Yuna wanted to gift Link the Zora Greaves but has been unable to locate them. There are rumors, however, that they were once used as an offering in the Ancient Zora Waterworks. Head back down to the whirlpool in the East Reservoir Lake to explore the waterworks for the second time.
Its exact coordinates are 3612, 0123, 0003.
Since you completed the Sidon of the Zora Quest, the Ancient Zora Waterworks has completely drained of water, revealing a giant hole in the floor. Drop down the hole and make your way to the waterfall in the back of the room. It is guarded by a Stone Talus, so make sure you come prepared for a fight. Ascending up the waterfall and gliding onto the Stone Talus’ back is a great way to take this enemy down fast.
Once the Talus is out of your way, pass through the waterfall and into a secret alcove containing a chest. Open the chest to find the Zora Greaves.
The exact location of the treasure is 3586, 0247, -0103.
Locating the Zora Helm
The last piece of the Zora Armor Set puzzle is the Zora Helm. After completing the Sidon of the Zora Quest, Yuna tasked two of her assistants to locate the Helm for Link, but unfortunately, they have not had much luck.
Make your way to the Throne Room in Zora’s Domain and speak to Khira and Chroma to begin The Never-Ending Lecture Side Quest. Khira and Chroma tell Link that the Helm was last seen on a Sky Fish. This is your first vital clue.
Head back to the Floating Scales Island to begin your search for the Helm. Make your way to the head of the fish and glide off the edge. There is a small opening on the left-hand side of the fish just before the fin. Make your way in there and proceed down the small passageway to reach the chest in the back.
The exact coordinates of the Zora Helm are 4094, 0529, 0586.
