The Ember Armor Set is a set of brand-new Armor in the Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. It offers armor and an attack buff in intense heat. The Ember Set also has a unique feature: It glows a fiery red in high-temp environments. Its three pieces can be found in the Eldin region at YunuboCo HQ South Cave, Goronbi River Cave, and Cephla Lake Cave.

The headpiece will glow when the effects are active.

Ember Headdress

You can find the Ember Headdress headgear in the YunuboCo HQ South Cave just north of Marakuguc Shrine, which is generally used as the fast travel point for Goron City in Eldin.

Ember Shirt

You can find the Ember Shirt body gear in the Goronbi River Cave. Follow the road south of Goron City and stray off the road to the right (to the west). Overlooking the river, you'll eventually see a small cavemouth marked by some magma. It's just in front of a monster camp, too.

Ember Trousers

You can find the Ember Trousers leg gear in Cephla Lake Cave in the Eldin Region, just north of Foothill Stable and Kisinona Shrine. You'll see a small camp set up in front of the mouth of the cave on the bank of Cephla Lake.

Ember Armor Set Upgrades

After you find and unlock the Great Fairy Fountains in Hyrule, you can bring them ingredients and a donation of rupees to increase the armor value of each piece of armor. All pieces of the Ember Armor Set will require the same materials to upgrade each. See the table below for the ingredients needed and defense bonus you can gain for each piece of armor.

• Upgrading each piece to level 2 will unlock the Set Bonus: Hot Weather Charge, which charges attacks faster in hot weather.
