Where to Find the Mask of Awakening
The Mask of Awakening is the reward for completing Misko’s Treasure of Awakening III side quest.
If you follow this guide and know what to do, you can complete this quest whenever you want. But if you want to find the glass bottle containing the riddle, you will have to complete Misko’s Treasure of Awakening I and Misko’s Treasure of Awakening II first since you get the clues in order of completion.
Misko’s riddle for the third leg of the Armor of Awakening treasure hunt reads as follows:
“On Hyrule Ridge, in Ludfo’s land, ruins sleep beneath the towering mushroom trees. Connect the southern column’s midday shadow to the northern. At the shadows center, the way to my treasure will open.”
The location the riddle hints to is Thundra Plateau in Hyrule Ridge. You can find you way there by gliding southwest from Lindor’s Brow Skyview Tower or by riding to the west of New Serenne Stable.
Thundra Plateau coordinates: -2307, 0854, 0113.
Once you arrive at your destination, climb up into the arena to begin deciphering the next part of the riddle: Connect the southern column’s midday shadow to the northern.
Check your compass and find the southernmost column.
Southern column coordinates: -2268, 0877, 0126.
There should be several logs scattered about the arena. If not, chop down some of the mushroom-shaped trees to create a massive pillar. You will need around five or six logs stacked end-to-end to make this work.
Once you have your giant stick, you have to somehow attach it to the southern pillar. You can do this by using a stake and placing it as high as you possibly can on the southern column. If you don’t have a stake, you can also just stand on top of the column and hold your giant stick.
The idea is to extend the southern column's shadow so that it touches the northern column when the sun is behind it at noon. Attaching your stick to the column just makes it easier. That way, you are free to build a fire, wait till noon, and watch the shadow pass over the northern column, opening the way to the treasure.
If your timing was right and your stick was long enough, a massive hole will open in the middle of Thundra Plateau. Drop down to find the Mask of Awakening.
Mask of Awakening coordinates: -2267, 0847, 0081.
Where to Find the Tunic of Awakening
You can get your hands on the Tunic of Awakening by completing its accompanying side quest; Misko’s Treasure of Awakening I.
To unlock this quest, you need to clear the Goronbi River Cave in the western part of Eldin. First, travel south from Goron City until the road splits in two, then walk past the two Goron merchants in the west. Look down from the cliffs to see the cave entrance below, at coordinates 1415, 2106, 0287.
Defeat the Horriblin and Fire Like inside, and open the treasure chest at the end of the cave. This will make the stone wall next to you disappear, revealing a stone pillar. Interact with this pillar to start Misko's Treasure of Awakening I.
The treasure, Misko's Tunic of Awakening, is inside the Ancient Columns Cave in the Hyrule Ridge and Tabantha Frontier region. To find your way to the cave, first head to the Ancient Columns in Hyrule Ridge. You can make your way there by riding west of the Tabantha Bridge Stable.
The area is guarded by a Flame Gleeok, so if you approach the Ancient Columns from the front, you will have to go through it to find the treasure.
There are quite a few columns here, but only one correct one. The column you’re after has a button on top. You can find the right column near the edge of the cliff pointing toward Tabantha Bridge Stable.
Ancient Column Cave coordinates: -3484, 0421, 0292.
Stand on the pressure plate to open the entrance to the Ancient Columns Cave. Drop in to claim your reward.?
Tunic of Awakening coordinates: -3526, 0414, 0241.
Where to Find the Trousers of Awakening
The Trousers of Awakening are the reward for completing their accompanying side quest; Misko's Treasure of Awakening II.
The riddle Misko gives you on the second leg of the Armor of Awakening treasure hunt reads as follows:
“In the ruins of Hyrule Field, where warriors once tested themselves in battle, offer your soldier’s claymore to the two sculpted soldiers. The sword will point the way to my treasure.”
The location Misko is hinting to is the Coliseum Ruins in South Hyrule Field. You can get there by gliding southwest from Hyrule Field Skyview Tower, or by riding northeast from Outskirt Stable.
Coliseum Ruins coordinates: -1173, -1310, 0046.
The Coliseum Ruins are guarded by a Thunder Gleeok, so you will have to come prepared for a fight with a good stash of strong weapons and eyeballs.
Once you clear out that nasty enemy, make your way over to the southern wall where you will find two soldier sculptures. Pick up the soldier’s claymore lying on the ground beside the soldier on the right and place it back on the statue.
As soon as you place the sword back in its rightful place, a large hole will open up in the ground leading to the Coliseum Ruins Cave.
Coliseum Ruins Cave coordinates: -1166, -1303, 0046.
Drop down into the cave below to find the treasure chest containing Misko’s treasure: The Trousers of Awakening.
Trousers of Awakening coordinates: -1158, -1271, 0034.
