The Hylian Set is a returning set of Armor in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. It features a traditional travelers tunic, trousers, and hood with moderate defense, and no apparent set bonuses, and can be bought from various merchants in Hyrule.

Hylian Set

The Hylian Outfit is comprised of three armor pieces:

• Hylian Hood - Head Gear (Base Defense 3, Sell Value - 15)
• Hylian Tunic - Body Gear (Base Defense 3, Sell Value - 35)
• Hylian Trousers - Leg Gear (Base Defense 3, Sell Value - 30)

The Hylian Set can be dyed at the Hateno Dye Shop, and it can also be upgraded at the Great Fairy Fountains.

Where to Find the Hylian Outfit Set in TotK

The Hylian Outfit can be purchased as soon as you arrive on the surface of The Kingdom of Hyrule, and reunite with your allies at Lookout Landing, located just south of Hyrule Castle Town in Central Hyrule Field. The armor pieces can be bought at Mubs' shop for the following prices:

• Hylian Hood - 70 Rupees
• Hylian Tunic - 130 Rupees
• Hylian Trousers - 120 Rupees

It can also be purchased for the same price at Cece's Ventest Clothing Shop in Hateno Village, but only after you've completed the Side Adventure, Team Cece or Team Reede? and The Mayoral Election to decide the new mayor of the town.

In addition, completing the Hateno Side Adventure will also unlock the ability for Cece to alter the Hylian Hood by removing the hood (or placing it back over Link's head) when speaking to her.

Hylian Set Armor Upgrades

After you find and unlock the Great Fairy Fountains in Hyrule, you can bring them ingredients and a donation of rupees to increase the armor value of each piece of armor. All pieces of the Hylian Armor Set will require the same materials to upgrade each. See the table below for the ingredients needed and defense bonus you can gain for each piece of armor.
