After rolling credits and defeating the final boss of Animal Well, there is still plenty to do. There are multiple puzzles, special tools, and a true ending to check out after beating the game.

Collect every Egg

If you didn't gather all of them during the main game, you can collect any of the remaining eggs out of the 64 Eggs in the game. Collecting all of the eggs gives you the 65th egg, which is necessary for reaching the true ending.

Gather Every Optional Tool

Outside of the main five tools found in Animal Well (Disc, Bubble Wand, Slink, Yoyo, Lantern) there are several additional tools that you can find. These tools serve a number of different purposes. Some are needed to collect every Egg, complete the true ending, and even to complete the additional Rabbit puzzles. You may have discovered some of these tools during your time playing through the main story of Animal Well, but they aren't necessary for completing any of the main puzzles.

The special tools are:

• Wheel
• Bouncy Ball
• UV Light
• B. B. Wand

Get the True Ending

Once you collect all 64 Eggs, you can grab the 65th Egg from the Egg Room. This item is necessary for reaching the true ending. With the 65th Egg in tow, head back in to the area where you had to complete a puzzle gauntlet while being chased by the Manticore.

In the top right corner of this gauntlet area, drop the Top, which will open up a secret path.

In here is an incubator, which you can place the 65th Egg. This will spawn a new Manticore, which will start chasing you and firing lasers at you. From here, head two screens to the right.

In the top right corner there is a small cove, blocked off by glass blocks. If you get the Manticore to fire lasers at it, it will break them and allow you in. These blocks could have been broken during the first boss fight here. Drop the Top and break the ground, revealing a Wheel control and a large block with a Manticore face on it. Use the Wheel to move the block out of the way. This path doesn't lead anywhere except to some fruit, but it does remove another block from the room to the left of the incubator. Head back that way.

With that block removed, use the Remote to switch the blocks here and get past them. Use the Bouncy Ball to clear the blocks on the left side of the small area, giving you a clear path to the Animal Flute statue. Get to the statue and start firing off random notes. This will cause the Manticore to open its mouth, which you can enter.

This will trigger another credit sequence while you fly around controlling the Manticore. To return to the main map, just keep flying up until you reach a block, go left or right to get around it, and keep going up. Eventually you will reach the top of the mountain and you can dismount from the Manticore. Run to the center of the area and there will be a portal you can take back. Doing this will technically give you 100% completion as far as achievements and trophies are concerned (assuming you got the other missable ones) but there are in fact more puzzles to complete.

Unlock Every Trophy/Achievement

At this point you have done most of the work to clean up all of the achievements/trophies in Animal Well, but you might need to do a little clean up. A few you may have missed include lighting all nine Candles, popping 1,000 bubbles, and the SNEAK missable achievement. SNEAK is awarded for sneaking up on a squirrel, but there is an opportunity very early if you start a new run. There are three total save files, which can be viewed under the LOAD GAME section on the main menu, so you don't have to delete your save to load a new file.

Complete the Rabbit puzzles

Hidden throughout the map are 16 Rabbit puzzles, which can be found using the UV Light to cypher hidden messages. Each of these Rabbits has it's own puzzle to complete and completing all of them will earn you a set of wings, which lets you fly freely around the map. These puzzles are considered bonuses and aren't needed to 100% the game, offering some real hard puzzles for anyone dedicated enough to try and solve them.
