The Kangaroo is a roaming enemy in Animal Well that will attack you on site when encountered. If you get killed by the Kangaroo, it will move on to a new area, but you can take down the Kangaroo, although it's going to take some work.

How to Beat the Kangaroo

To beat the Kangaroo, you need to hit it with firecrackers three different times. The catch is that you can only do it once per encounter, so you will need to track down the Kangaroo three times. Each time you hit the Kangaroo with a firecracker, it drops a piece of the K Medal. There are three pieces total.

The Kangaroo can appear in five different rooms around the Animal Well map. It will only appear in one of the locations at any given time, so you will need to check each spot to find it. It appears as though the Kangaroo won't return to rooms where you hit it with the firecracker, but it could vary for each person. Below there are three map images, with red squares on the rooms where the Kangaroo can appear.

What to do with the K Medal

Once you hit the Kangaroo three times, it will no longer appear and you will have a complete K Medal. On the far left side of the map you can find a door, which is only opened by the K Medal. It leads to a Kangaroo shaped room, at the bottom of which is the Bouncy Ball, which can be used to break rocks.
