All Item Locations

A big part of Animal Well's metroidvania-style gameplay is that many of the items and tools you will need to solve all of it's puzzles are scattered throughout the map. Some items are a little easier to find than others, but if you want to see everything Animal Well has to offer, you will need to track down some of the harder to find items.

Every Item in Animal Well

Every item in Animal Well is listed below, so there will be some spoilers later in the list.

Map	Allows you to view the Map	Obtained from a chest in the room underneath the main area.
Bubble Wand	Creates a bubble, which can be jumped on.	Found in a chest in the southwest area of the map.
Yoyo	Shoot out a Yoyo, which can be used to break rocks or hit out of reach buttons.	Found in a chest in the southeast area of the map.
Disc	Throw a bouncing Disc, which can be used to hit buttons and switches.	Found in a dog statue in the northwest area of the map. Needs to be replaced with the M Disc.
Slink	Used to hit buttons, as it falls down staircase shaped areas.	Found in a chest in the northeast area of the map.
M Disc	Used to replace the regular Disc in the ghost dog statue.	Picked up from a statue in the room above the ghost dog statue.
Animal Flute	Used to play songs, which do different things, like fast travel.	Picked up in the Egg Room in the central part of the map as the reward for finding 8 Eggs.	Egg Room
Pencil	Allows you to draw on the Map.	Picked up in the Egg Room in the central part of the map as the reward for finding 16 Eggs.	Egg Room
Top	Used to destroy blocks, including breakable ground. Is the only item that destroys breakable ground.	Picked up in the Egg Room in the central part of the map as the reward for finding 32 Eggs.	Egg Room
Firecrackers	Used to scare animals and ghosts away.	One of the few consumable items, Firecrackers can be found all throughout the map and will respawn.	All over
Fruit	Recovers health	The other consumable item, fruits can be found throughout the map. Cannot be carried if you have full health, although purple fruits can provide bonus hearts.	All over
Bouncy Ball	A Bouncy Ball that can break special blocks and occasionally activates a brick breaker minigame.	The Bouncy Ball is obtained by defeating the Kangaroo and obtaining the K Medal, which opens a door in the northwest area, where the Bouncy Ball is.
Remote	The Remote can switch blocks and cause special effects in areas with a remote beacon.	The Remote is obtained by getting the S Medal in the northeast after the boss is defeated there, and using it to head into a secret area in the south.
Wheel	Used to traverse safely across spikes and to activate special wheel controls.	The Wheel is obtained from freeing the Cats in cages in the southeast section of the map and by heading to the secret Cat Room.
Lantern	Used to safely pass through ghosts and white birds. Will also light up dark rooms and allow you to view the map.	The Lantern is obtained early into the fifth section, which opens up after gathering the flames from the other four areas.
UV Lantern	Used to see hidden messages in the some areas.	Need to find and light all nine Candles, then head to the Koala fast travel pipe, where a new room is revealed.
Stamps	Allows you to stamp different icons on the Map.	Acquired in the Egg Room, no minimum Eggs required.	Egg Room
House Key	Allows you to enter the House at the end of the game.	Defeat the final boss in the Lantern area, which will drop the House Key for you.
Office Key	Allows you to enter the Office in the House at the end of the game.	Complete the post-game Egg Song puzzle.	Egg Room
F. Pack	Allows you to carry up to six firecrackers.	Can be found in a closet in the House at the end of the Lantern area.
B. B. Wand	Allows you to create multiple bubbles at once.	Can be found in a secret room, one room up and to the left from the final boss arena.
