Letter Scraps are collectibles tied to the Mystery of Leonora Johnson. There are a total of 50 Letter Scraps?hidden throughout San Andreas that are available to retrieve from the get-go. The letters look like little glowing pieces of paper on the floor, and when nearby, you can hear the faint sound of a piece of paper moving in the wind. As soon as you pick one up, it will save, leaving you with no need to pick it up again.

When all 50 Letter Scraps are collected, the 4-page letter is revealed along with the killer's identity and unlocking a new mission, A Starlet in Vinewood.

#1 Los Santos Docks - Terminal Way ?

On top of a blue-colored container in the middle of Buccaneer Way. You will need to climb the opposite containers and then jump toward it.

#2 Los Santos Airport - Arrivals Terminal ?

This letter scrap is on the floor outside of the arrivals terminal (lower level) of the airport.

#3 Los Santos Docks - Olifantus Ship ?

Sitting on the Olifantus boat in front of the wheelhouse window. The boat is at the Port of South Los Santos in Elysian Island.

#4 Los Santos Airport Bar - Circular Structure ?

This scrap is located on the balcony of the circular structure at LS Airport. You need to use a Helicopter to reach this area.

#5 Cypress Flats - Underground Train Tunnel ?

The scrap is under the train tracks just further down from Ammu-Nation in Cypress Flats. Look for a tunnel with the numbers "2495" and then enter inside and turn right at the tunnel. The scrap will be just a few clicks down.

#6 El Burro Heights - Scrapyard ?

Enter the scrapyard and look for the second warehouse in the middle with a school bus chassis. The letter scrap is inside the bus. This is also the same location where you purchase the Car Scrapyard property.

#7 Grove Street House - Backyard?

This scrap is located next door to the house that Franklin, Trevor, and Lamar visit during the Hood Safari mission. Be careful when entering this area because it is filled with rival Balla gang members ready to shoot you if you pull a weapon or cause a brawl!

#8 Davis Mega Mall - Parking Lot Dumpster ?

Inside a Mega Mall dumpster in the front parking lot off Davis Avenue in Davis.

#9 Vespucci Beach - Skate Park Pool ?

The scrap is inside a pool of a skate park in Vespucci Beach.

#10 Murrietta Heights - Coastal Landmass ?

Behind some bushes on an island off the East Coast of Los Santos.

#11 Vespucci Canals - Lower Median ?

On the center median in a canal tunnel under Palomino Avenue. Use the same path that Michael used in the Daddy's Little Girl mission to reach this median.

#12 Del Perro Beach Pier - Pearls Restaurant Balcony ?

To reach the balcony of the Pearls Restaurant, take the back stairs of the building next to Pearls and use the adjoining balcony to reach the letter scrap.

#13 LA Mesa Bridge?

On the Vespucci Boulevard bridge in La Mesa. Look on the other side of the arch support structure.

#14 Pillbox Hill - Construction Site ?

This scrap is located on the top platform of the yellow crane at the building under construction. There are several cranes on this construction site,?you must access this particular crane at ground level from inside the building structure.

This crane features a total of 20 separate ladders to reach the letter scrap. Not really a problem on the way up, but the descent can be hazardous due to the game's hinky ladder "auto grab" system, which sometimes causes your character to jump off the edge rather than step onto the ladder. The crane arm does spawn a parachute, though, which is probably a safer and more enjoyable alternative for reaching the ground.

This is also the same place where you meet with Devin and Molly during the I Fought The Law mission.

#15 Richards Majestic Studio Backlot ?

Enter from the western gates and immediately enter the alleyway by the security guard booth. Find the stairway at the back of the alley and then take it to the top and then jump over to the next stairway to find the scrap. You'll receive a 2-star Wanted level when you enter inside the premises, so it's better to wait until Michael gets friendly with Solomon so that you can enter the lot without any problems.

#16 Alta Street - Construction Site?

Inside a barricaded construction pit at the work site in Alta on Power Street and Occupation Avenue. This is also the same area where Franklin meets with the architect for the FIB plans.

#17 East Vinewood - Lower Flood Dam ?

On the middle platform of the three lower platforms of the flood dam in East Vinewood. This is also where Michael and Trevor accost Lazlow in Fame or Shame.

#18 Pacific Bluffs Cemetary - Center Island?

By a bench on a small island plot at the Pacific Bluffs Graveyard.

#19 Hawick Avenue - Skateboard Half-Pipe Structure?

Inside a half-pipe in Hawick on Power Street and Hawick Avenue on the roof of a Hawaiian-themed store called Hawaiian Snow.

#20 Pacific Bluffs Beachside Hotel - Poolside Bar ?

On the counter of a bar at the hotel pools in Pacific Bluffs. This is also the same hotel where Franklin meets Mr. Cheng during the final story mission.

#21 West Vinewood - Apartment Complex?

On top of the BBQ grill at a community apartment in West Vinewood on Spanish and Eastbourne Avenue. Look for red-colored roofing on the apartments to find the correct building.

#22 Vinewood Race Track - Bleachers ?

On a stack of bleachers at the Vinewood Racetrack.

#23 Kortz Center - Garden Maze?

Inside a hedge maze at the Kortz Center between the Biranda Building and Moseley Building. Enter from the North entrance and follow these directions: Left, Right, Right, Left, Right, Left, Left, Left.

#24 Lake Vinewood Mansion - Outer Gaming Room ?

Inside the outdoor game room at the Lake Vinewood Estate property.

#25 Vinewood Sign?

On top of the letter "I" of the Vinewood Hills sign. Climb the ladder behind it to reach it.

#26 Tongva Valley Fruit Stand ?

Beneath the highway 11 roadside tourist information sign next to a roadside fruit stand in Tongva Valley.

#27 Galileo Observatory Trail - Upper Trail ?

Located by the picnic tables at the Big Orange Juice stand in the Vinewood Hills mountain trail vista overlook.

#28 Palmer-Taylor Power Station - Landmass ?

On a secluded island landmass east of the Palmer-Taylor Power Station.

#29 Galileo Road - Abandoned Mine ?

This scrap is located by a locked-up door in the mountain of Great Chaparral. The door is found off a winding road that branches off northward from Galileo Road.

#30 San Chianski Mountains - Inner Cove ?

Inside a lagoon cave on the left side. Aside from the Letter scrap, there is also a Spaceship part on the right side of the cove.

#31 Grand Senora Desert - South Hills ?

This scrap is located behind a billboard just south of the Grand Senora Desert. This is the same place where you find a Spaceship part and one of Maude's reprobates.

#32 Redwood Lights Track ?

This scrap is located in the center of the large circular structure at the Redwood Lights Track.

#33 Lago Zancudo Marsh ?

This scrap is located in a grassy area near the marshes at Lago Zancudo.

#34 Zancudo River Underpass ?

This scrap is located under a small underpass bridge, a small distance east of the Ammu-Nation (this is also where you pick up the tied-up bachelor party guy for the "Stag Do Running Man" random event).

#35 Great Chapparal Church - Cemetery ?

This scrap is located at a graveyard behind the church in Great Chapparal (this is also the same place where you pick up the Runaway Bride).

#36 Grand Senora Desert - Drill Quarry ?

This scrap is at the roof of this building at the driller quarry. Use the ladders to reach the roof.

#37 Sandy Shores Airstrip - Rock Formation ?

This scrap is located on the top of the biggest rock formation just near the center of the Sandy Shores airstrip. Use a helicopter, or park a vehicle on the North side of the rock (the same side as the airport runway) and jump on top of the vehicle then onto the rock, to reach this scrap.?

Inside the dried up pool at the abandoned motel in Sandy Shores.

#39 Raton Canyon?

On a cliff vista in Raton Canyon, overlooking the south side of Cassidy Creek.

#40 Alamo Sea Landmass?

This scrap is located on a large circular landmass in the northwestern section of the Alamo Sea (just near where you pick up Ursula the hitchiker).

#41 Galilee Docks?

This scrap is located at workshop shelter at Millar's Fishery Company in Galilee.

#42 Altruist Camp - Radio Tower?

On the communication tower at the Altruist Cult camp in the Chiliad Mountain State Wilderness.

#43 Grapeseed - White Tents

This scrap is located under the second white tent in the middle.

#44 El Gordo Lighthouse?

This scrap is located at the back of the El Gordo Lighthouse.

#45 Paleto Bay Lumber Yard - Outer Woods?

In the woods near the Lumber Yard in Paleto Forest. This is the same area where Franklin rescues Lamar for the Lamar Down mission.

#46 Mount Chiliad - Cable Car Platform?

On a cable car platform near a parachute pick-up on the top of Mount Chiliad.

#47 Paleto Bay Beach House ?

This scrap is on the balcony of the beach house above the garage.

#48 Dignity Village Hobo Camp?

This scrap is inside one of the white tents in the middle of the camp.

#49 Procopio Beach Restrooms?

On the steps of the men's restroom at Procopio Beach.

#50 Paleto Bay - Dilapidated House?

On the back porch of the derelict house, one block west of the Pay N Spray.

How to Unlock the Secret Letter Scraps Mission, A Starlet in Vinewood?

Once you have found all 50 letter scraps, Franklin will unlock a special Strangers and Freaks mission up in Vinewood Hills, called A Starlet in Vinewood.
