Apartments
V starts with one assigned apartment in Cyberpunk 2077, but the 1.5 Update brought with it four new property options ready for purchase after you meet certain requirements. Though each apartment is listed as being ready for renting, you'll only need to pay a one-time fee and you'll own the property alongside any others you own indefinitely. You're not limited on the number of apartments you can own. You also get another apartment that's all your own when playing the Phantom Liberty expansion in Dogtown.
In this guide you can learn all about the new apartments in Night City, their perks, how to upgrade the Megabuilding 10 apartment, and details about the new apartment buffs.
This page also has images of the apartment makeovers and more images of each new apartment option so you can get a look at them before investing. Need a little extra cash to afford one of the bigger apartments? Be sure to visit the How to Make Money guide for tips. Following the 2.0 update, apartment prices have gotten an increase as well, which are reflected in the options below.

How to Get a New Apartment
You can invest in a new apartment after completing the Playing for Time quest. With that done, you can either approach one of the new apartments on foot or simply pay to rent them from V's computer at the default apartment in Megabuilding H10. Renting from the computer can be done through the EZEstates site, but this is only accessible at the Megabuilding H10 computer.
When at V's computer, select "Net" on the top of the computer screen. Then select "EZEstates," the option just to the left of Arasaka. From here you can choose information about the four available apartments (listed below) from the "For Rent" option.
As mentioned above apartments cost a one-time fee. These can be easily tracked on your map by tabbing over to the custom filter and turning on "Apartment for Rent." Each apartment has a unique design and some special interactions. A fast travel point will appear outside your new apartment after its been purchased. Your inventory stash is shared across all owned apartments. Each apartment you purchase will be permanently owned by you, allowing you access to new safe locations in other parts of Night City.

Megabuilding H10 Upgrades
From the EZEstates website you can choose from one of six renovation options to give your apartment a style refresh. All upgrade options cost $10,000.
To purchase an apartment renovation all you need to do is go to the "Makeovers" tab under the "For Rent" option on the EZEstates website. Choose one of the six renovations and select it. Press the button with the $10,000 to purchase it. The amount will be withdrawn from your account and you'll encounter a brief bit of static before you can wander around your redesigned apartment.
The upgrade isn't so much an upgrade as it is a style refresh for the paint, flooring, and textiles in the apartment.
Note that Sowbread Tiger is the default design in your apartment, but you can accidentally pay for it if you select it. You can preview the different apartment upgrades in the slideshows below.
