The rumors are true: Cyberpunk 2077 is getting a multiplayer mode that will allow players to connect with others in Night City online. Details about the multiplayer mode are scarce at this time so be sure to check back in the future.

When Multiplayer Will Release

No formal release date has been given thus far for the Cyberpunk 2077 multiplayer game mode. What we do know is that it is likely "a couple of years" away and probably won't release in 2021. It is being developed simultaneously with Cyberpunk 2077 proper.?

Microtransactions

The multiplayer version of Cyberpunk 2077 will have microtransactions when it releases. These in-game purchases will not be “aggressive” and are designed to make “people happy to spend money.” The base singleplayer version of Cyberpunk 2077 will have no microtransactions.
