Recall
Recall is one of Link's new Abilities in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom that allows you reverse the flow of time to send a variety of inorganic objects back from whence they came.
This ability is gained during your time on the Great Sky Island, once you complete the three shrines and gain access to the Temple of Time.
Recall allows Link to reverse the flow of time with certain objects. Time itself doesn't move backward, but the object moves backward in time. For example, if a Moblin enemy pushes a boulder down a hill and runs after the boulder, Link can use his Recall ability to reverse the boulder through time, sending it back the way it came, hitting the Moblins. The Moblins do not reverse because only the boulder is recalled through time. However, if the boulder hits the Moblin, it will deal damage.

Recall has many such combat applications, allowing you to redirect nearly all projectiles (save arrows) back at attackers. Unlike Link's other Abilities. Recall will freeze time when you ready it, letting you pivot and select the object safely in mid-air without having to worry about lining up the target.
Recall can also be used to get around/into certain environments. With the Upheaval, many large chunks of ruins from the Sky Islands can be seen falling to the Surface with visual green glows. Link can approach them and use Recall to ride the rubble back up into the air. Since Recall will replay the last 30 seconds of an object's motion, you can use it to ride all the way up to the Sky, or stop it early by tapping the L button to resume its natural trajectory.
It can also be used to manipulate platforms to your advantage in tandem with Ultrahand. Since it follows the movement of its last 30 seconds, you can raise a platform or Wing glider Zonai device up into the air, hold it in place, then use Recall to effectively keep it up into the air for you to hop onto, or Ascend up onto as a floating platform!
