Extra-Fancy Bundt
Bundt, the actual non-Bundt cake, is back and frostier than ever. Extra-Fancy Bundt is a postgame version of the cake you first fought at Booster and Peach's wedding. Defeating it will reward you with the Enduring Brooch, a powerful accessory.
Once again, it's optional to visit the Frog Sage, and he’ll let you know that there’s a celebration going on in Marrymore. But before heading there, make sure you have at least three or four Sleepy Bombs in your inventory, as they're very important for this fight. If you don't, you can get them from Forkie enemies in Bowser's castle.
Once you have enough Sleepy Bombs, fast travel to Marrymore, and equip at least some of your party members with Sleep, Mushroom, and/or Scarecrow resistant accessories. It’s also a good idea to keep the Lazy Shell on Peach so she can come in and heal when needed (or cast Sleepy Time if you're out of Sleepy Bombs), as Bundt’s AOE attacks can do quite a bit of damage as well. Once you're all set, head to the wedding chapel to find two Tortes and the Bundt cake, ready for a rematch.
Just like the Booster fight, Bundt will launch a party-wiping attack when all the candles are lit. Since the Tortes light two candles per turn, it’s a much better idea to put them out of the fight. And although they don’t take damage from anything, they can be put to sleep.
Keep the Tortes asleep with the Sleepy Bombs for as long as possible, and keep hitting the cake with physical attacks and Mario’s Super Jump. If the Tortes wake up, don’t ever let them get the cake past three candles, as they often light them at the same time and you’ll go from three to five instantly, triggering the party-wipe attack.
Other than that, the fight is pretty simple. Bundt will sometimes inflict Sleep, Mushroom, and Scarecrow with its attacks, so just heal those statuses whenever possible if they hit party members that aren't immune. Once this cake is baked, you’ll receive the Enduring Brooch, an accessory that will revive a party member from death once per battle.
After defeating the dessert in question, your next boss will be a rematch with Duel-Ready Johnny!
