Cursed Sails

Cursed Sails is one of the free content updates for Sea of Thieves, which started on July 31st, 2018 - and includes new world events where cursed skeleton ships rise from their watery graves to battle players on the high seas.

This update includes new enemies and ships, as well as new Commendations, a story campaign, and more:

Cursed Sails Campaign

As skeletons are taking to their cursed ships and terrorizing the seas, new banners have appeared at Outposts that point the way to nearby waters where the skeleton crews are making their presence known. Some skeletons are also equipped with the Eye of Reach, making them deadly snipers.

In addition to these new battles, a new story can be uncovered by speaking to the right people and following a trail of clues.

New Additions

Besides new threats, there are now new friendly updates to help players out:

A new 3-player ship called the Brigantine, which includes more cannons and two sails, and a map located in the hold.

Alliances can now be formed by interacting with the Flag Box in your crow nest, and you can now hoist pennant flags to offer, join, or leave alliances. When in alliance, all parties will share in the rewards!

New cosmetics - including the Bone Crusher Set, Hunter Set, and Ghost Ship Set (For Pirate Legends), World Region Sails, limited time scars and tattoos - if you can defeat all the waves of a skeleton ship attack!
