The Wilds is one of the four main regions in Sea of Thieves and it is located slightly northeast of The Ancient Isles. As the name suggests, it's quite a wild region of the map. The waters are often murky and rough, the skies are almost never blue, and the actual islands themselves are filled with enemies galore.

The Devil's Roar
The Devil's Roar is one of the four main regions in Sea of Thieves and it's located on the eastern side of the map. It's actually a region that was added to the game post-launch, specifically in the Forsaken Shores update. It's easily the toughest region of the game to sail through and that's because not only are the waves and skies rough, the there are literal volcanoes exploding here that can damage your ship.
