Sea of Thieves Adventure 6: A Hunters Cry

If so, look no further because this guide will detail everything you'll need to know about the latest adventure added during Sea of Thieves Season Seven. A Hunter's Cry Deeds
Deeds are tasks pirates could complete while playing A Hunter's Cry. Listed below are all the deeds you can complete:
- Enter the Sea of the Damned
- You can complete this by speaking to the Pirate Lord after setting sail to begin your journey.
- Light a Lighthouse Beam
- Use the beams from the Lighthouse to save Merrick.
- Defeat Ghost Ships (3)
- Good Ol cannons will do the trick.
- Help Lower the Drawbridge
- Lower the drawbridge when you're above the tavern.
- Rescue Merrick
- After reaching the top of The Damned Sea Dogs tavern, you'll be able to save Merrick.
- Deliver a Letter to Serik
- Deliver the message from Larinna to The North Star Seapost.
A Hunter’s Cry Mementos
Pirates can unlock two Mementos for completing A Hunter's Cry. Below is a picture of what you can unlock and the requirements to obtain them.
- 'Hunter's Repose' Memento
- This will be unlocked after completing A Hunter's Cry.
- Defender of the Damned (Title)
- Players can unlock this after completing all deeds during A Hunter's Cry.
How to Begin A Hunter's Cry
To begin A Hunter's Cry, you won't have to go too far. As soon as you wake up in the bar, exit it and talk to Larinna. She can always be spotted right outside, often leaning on a pole.
As soon as you open up the dialog options, you'll want to scroll down to the [Begin Adventure]- I want to help save Merrick! After that, you'll be on your way to saving the Pirate Legend, Merrick.
A Hunter's Cry Walkthrough
Now that you've accepted the quest, you're ready to embark on an adventure to save Merrick. You'll need to first speak to The Pirate Lord, who can be found right next to your ship.
After speaking with him, hop on your ship and enter the Sea of the Damned. Just make sure you're properly prepared before entering.
The Pirate Lord will greet you the second you enter the portal and tell you what to expect. Afterward, you'll be loaded into The Damned Sea Dogs with ghost ships all around you. So be prepared for a fight.
The first thing you'll want to do is go to the Lighthouse that's on the south side of the island. Once you arrive at the lighthouse, take the Flame of Souls and light the nearby braziers.
After you've done that, you'll be able to enter the light tower, the stairs to the top. You'll run into a few ghosts on the way up.
Now that you've made it to the top light of the tower, move the light towards the brazier near the bottom right. You'll know you've done this correctly when you see a flash of light around the island.
After securing the lighthouse, you'll want to do the same thing to the east lighthouse.
As soon as both lighthouses are secure, you can finally land on the main island. Follow the main path up, and eventually, you'll hit a path that's impossible to cross. You'll need to light all the smaller braziers that can be spotted alongside the path.
Once all of the smaller ones are lit up, you'll be able to open the locked door.
Now that the door is unlocked, you'll need to light the smaller brazier. After doing that, the larger one will appear, and you'll need to go back to the light tower on the west side and redirect the light to the brazier that just appeared. After you've done that, you'll be able to cross the path.
Afterward, you'll want to return to the main island and follow the path back up. Eventually, you'll reach another point that's uncrossable. This time around, you'll need to go to the southern lighthouse and point the light at the brazier of where you just were, and after you do that, the path should appear.
You'll need to follow the path up, and once again, you'll reach another impossible path. Once you reach that point light the smaller brazier near the cannon and another larger one should appear across from it. After that, go back to the southern lighthouse and point the light at the brazier that just spawned in. As soon as that's done, you can return to the main island and take the path up.
You'll need to lower the drawbridge as soon as you get to the top. After that, you'll be able to save Merrick, but before that happens, the Pirate Lord and the Warsmith will have a little back and forth.
After he's saved, you'll appear back on your ship again, and The Pirate Lord will thank you for all of your hard work, and you'll sail back to the sea of thieves.
Once you're back go to any Outpost and talk to Larinna, she'll give you a letter that you'll need to deliver to Merricks wife.
As soon as you find her, give her the letter, and you'll officially be done with A Hunter's Cry. Congratulations, pirate!
