FINALLY it feels like they invested into career mode with improved training, youth academy, tactics and most of all QOL improvements like choosing automatic vs manual scouting, auto training, turning off fatigue, changing cpu team variety in tactics, etc. The sliders appear so much better as they emphasize the on field product rather than obscure individual attributes. The CPU play styles included multiple long shots and the keeper coming out to the edge of the box to catch a cross. The first sports game in years I've been happy with the changes and updates. I don't play ultimate team so can't speak to those changes or lack thereof but I'd bet it revolves around microtransactions and buying advantages with real money. There are a few UI bugs I've noticed but i quickly forgot about them when i got to playing the game.
As an avid fan of the EA Sports franchise, I was eagerly anticipating EAFC25, but I’m left feeling incredibly disappointed. It’s hard to shake the feeling that this game is just a rebranded version of last year's installment. The lack of significant updates or innovations makes it feel like a cash grab rather than a genuine effort to enhance the gaming experience.
The graphics and gameplay mechanics are almost identical to its predecessor, and aside from a few roster updates, it feels like EA simply slapped a new title on an old game. I expected more from EA, especially for a full-price release. Why not just offer an update to last year’s game instead of charging players full price for what feels like a roster patch?
The absence of fresh features, modes, or improvements is glaring. It’s disappointing to see a franchise that has so much potential fall into this pattern of minimal change. I genuinely hope EA takes this feedback to heart and returns to delivering the innovative experiences we all crave. For now, I can’t recommend EAFC25; save your money and stick with last year’s version.
Career mode,
Franchise mode, thats all you need to decompress and truly unwind.
FIFA is always my got to true fun time game #HalaMadrid
Can ea please add more squad battles because rush is pointless coz noone passes the ball 12 games in squad battles is not enough!
worst ever fifa, even worse than fc 24
There is not much to write home about for this year's installment of FC. That is not an exciting way to do business for EA, but their incremental improvements in gameplay, career mode, and the brand new rush mode make FC 25 a solid sports title.
pay to win game, delay and lag all the time
IGN Review
EA Sports FC 25 delivers a few bright spots, like the fun and refreshing Rush mode, but stagnating gameplay and incremental improvements leave it feeling like EA continues to play it too safe.
