Sucker Punch Possibly Hiring for Ghost of Tsushima 2, Final Fantasy 16 Isn't Open World - Beyond 755
Jun 23, 2022 - On this week's episode of IGN's PlayStation show, Max Scoville is sitting in for Jonathon Dornbush, and he's joined this week by Jada Griffin and video game news reporter extraordinaire Matt Kim. The panel starts things off by discussing a job listing at Sucker Punch that could maybe possibly be for Ghost of Tsushima 2. It could also be for something completely different, like maybe a new Sly Cooper game. But really, it's probably for the sequel to Ghost of Tsushima. Speaking of open world games, the panel then delves into Final Fantasy 16 and why the game's producer says it won't be open world. That's not the only FF16 talk going on this week, as new details have been revealed about the game's summons and party members. Moving on from Japanese RPG's, the panel laments the news that a Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 + 4 remaster won't be happening anytime soon. And speaking of things not happening, Sony won't be taking part in this year's Gamescom 2022 festivities. Sony is the latest company, along with Nintendo and Take-Two, to not have any major presence at this year's show. Moving on, a modder makes a PS5 Slim...sorta. The group also discusses the possibility of an actual PS5 Slim from Sony, and when we might see one of those hit store shelves. And finally, we check in with everyone and what they've been playing.
