The beautiful but dangerous Akkala region is found in the northeastern corner of Hyrule, situated between a large mountain range and a vast ocean. This Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom region is known for its iconic landmarks, such as Skull Lake and the Rist Peninsula.

Don't Miss These Key Things in Akkala
Find the Ulri Mountains Skyview Tower on top of Ulri Mountain in the northeast portion of the map.
As the only town in the Akkala region, the colorful Tarrey Town in the middle of Lake Akkala is a must-visit. Of course, there are plenty of people to interact with and quests to pick up here!
The mysterious Lomei Labyrinth Island may appear out of reach, but The Lomei Labyrinth Island Prophecy quest walkthrough can help you out. You'll find hidden locations, loot, and mini-bosses in this northeastern corner of the map.
Not only do the Akkala Citadel Ruins in the southwestern part of Akkala look amazing, but they also host a mini-boss and tons of hidden loot. Just be careful while exploring...
Without going into detail, you really don't want to miss the Home on Arrange quest in Akkala. Be sure to pick it up in Tarrey Town.
Finally, it's highly recommended to investigate the Akkala Ancient Tech Lab in the northeastern corner of Akkala.

Locations in Akkala
Towns, Stables, and Settlements
The quaint Tarrey Town is the largest settlement in the Akkala region. Besides this village, you'll find two stables and a research lab.
- Tarrey Town - Found on the peninsula in the middle of Lake Akkala.
- South Akkala Stable - Southwest of the Ulri Mountain Skyview Tower, and west of Tarrey Town.
- East Akkala Stable - At the crossroads in the northern part of Akkala.
Merchants
- Beedle (East Akkala Stable): find him near the stable. In this location, Beedle sells arrows, brightbloom seeds, sticky frogs, swift carrots, and smotherwing butterflies.
- Beedle (South Akkala Stable): when you find Beedle near this stable, his inventory consists of arrows, brightbloom seeds, sticky lizards, hightail lizards, and fireproof lizards.
- Break-a-Part Shop: located in Tarrey Town. The Goron owner will separate any fused items from your weapons or shields at a cost of 20 rupees.
- Tarrey Town General Store: buy arrows, bomb flowers, dazzlefruits, and monster extract in the center of Tarrey Town.
Goddess Statues
Akkala hosts no less than three Goddess Statues:
- One in the middle of Tarrey Town.
- Another just north of East Akkala Stable, inside the East Akkala Stable Well at coordinates 4261, 2808, 0105.
- And the final one in the Spring of Power, North Akkala Valley, at coordinates 3750, 2670, 0002.
Device Dispensers
There's one Device Dispenser in Akkala, just west of Tarrey Town (across the water) at coordinates 3797, 1567, 0091. It offers the following Zonai Devices: fans, small wheels, balloons, big wheels, rockets, and steering sticks.

Caves and Wells
You can find a total of three wells in the Akkala region:
- South Akkala Stable Well - This well is located next to the South Akkala Stable, at coordinates 3192, 1718, 0201. Jump down to find a brightcap and a lonely cucco. In case you're wondering: you can't rescue this cucco (it will run back down), but you can drop another cucco down the well to keep him company. There's no quest or reward involved.
- East Akkala Stable Well - Located next to the East Akkala Stable at coordinates 4233, 2776, 0126. Inside this well, you'll find glowing cave fish and brightcap. Make sure you destroy the wall of loose stone, as it will lead to a second room with two fairies, brightbloom seeds, and a single giant brightbloom seed. There's also a goddess statue inside this room.
- Construction Site Well - Located at Hudson's Construction Site, west of Tarrey Town (mainland). The coordinates are 3719, 1584, 0089. Drop down the well to find a luminous stone deposit, brightcap, a bomb flower, brightbloom seeds, and giant brightbloom seeds. If you Ascend through the loose stones in the ceiling, and then destroy the wall of stone next to you, you'll find a large stack of free Zonai Devices.

Akkala Citadel Ruins Cave
The entrance is on the lower cliffs southwest of the Akkala Citadel Ruins, at coordinates 3228, 1447, 0291. Beware that the tunnel leads to an enemy camp with two blue Horriblins and two black Horriblins.
Before entering the camp, you might want to take the smaller tunnel to the left and take out the two Fire Chuchu's here. Continue through this tunnel to sneak up on the Horriblins.
After defeating them, don't forget to open the two treasure chests: one on the lower platform, and one on the highest wooden platform.
Bubbulforg location
Behind a wall of loose stones. Ascend to the highest wooden platform in the enemy camp, and you'll easily spot it.

Akkala Citadel Ruins Summit Cave
Explore the Akkala Citadel Ruins (watch out for the Gloom Hands) and go through the small crack in the wall at coordinates 3290, 1490, 0414. Open the treasure chest to collect the Fierce Deity Armor.
Bubbulfrog location
If you face the treasure chest and then turn to your right, you see another small crack in the wall. Go through it to find the Bubbulfrog.

Construction Site Cave
This cave has two separate entrances, leading to an unconnected tunnel. Go to the Hudson Construction Site, west of Tarrey Town, and find the first entrance at coordinates 3736, 1542, 0090. The tunnel leads to two sticky lizards.

Enter the second entrance at coordinates 3675, 1550, 0089 for brightbloom seeds, brightcap, and the bubbulfrog.

Tarrey Town Tunnel
Starting from Tarrey Town, glide down the rocks towards the southwest. There's an opening in the wall at coordinates 3927, 1577, 0109.

Simply follow the tunnel to find the bubbulfrog.

North Akkala Beach Cave
The entrance is in the very northeastern corner of Hyrule's mainland, at coordinates 4650, 3207, 0008. Shortly after entering the tunnel, you'll have to defeat two Electric Keeses and a Black Horriblin.
After defeating the first Horriblin, take the path to the left to collect three fairies. Then continue on your way and keep to the right - there are two more Horriblins (blue and black) between you and a treasure chest containing a Royal Halberd.
As this tunnel leads to a dead end, turn back again and go deeper down the cave (the only direction you haven't explored yet). Defeat the Rock Like and the Black Hinox (or sneak past the Hinox), and look up to find the North Akkala Beach Cave exit.
You can use the Ascend ability to enter the Lomei Labyrinth Island above, but beware of the Gloom Hands mini-boss waiting for you.
Bubbulfrog location
At the very end of this cave, below the Lomei Labyrinth Island. Go past the Hinox and look up to see the bubbulfrog on the wall above you.

Skull Lake Cave
The cave entrance is all the way atop the massive stone pillar. Glide over from a high point or use Recall on a nearby fallen rock. The coordinates are 3315, 3423, 0204.
Beware that this cave is full of Stalkoblins. There's also a Stalnox mini-boss inside the large open area. After defeating the enemies, climb the large rock in the middle of the room to collect the Fierce Deity Mask.
Bubbulfrog location
Break the wall on the north side of the large room with the Stalnox, the bubbulfrog is behind it.

- Lynel - In the North Akkala Valley (Deep Akkala), northwest of the East Akkala Stable, at coordinates 3750, 2880, 0038.
- Black Hinox - one is located south of the Rist Peninsula, and another one is inside the North Akkala Beach Cave, below the Lomei Labyrinth Island at coordinates 4654, 3639, 0050.
- Stalnox - Inside Skull Lake Cave. Follow the tunnel southeast of Skull Lake to coordinates 3417, 3336, -0138.
- Battle Talos - near the East Akkala Plains Chasm, at coordinates 4136, 2260, 0029.
