From minigames to pop-culture slang, you'll find all kinds of Easter Eggs laying around the Fallout 4 universe.
Alien Movie Reference
An Alien movie reference is hidden away in an obscure Junk Item. The Flux Sensor looks innocent enough, but flipped over in examination view it's revealed to be imprinted with a serial number.

The number turns out to be the digital readout for ID for the starship Nostromo, the famous setting for the film Alien.
An imgur user identified as 1Times first discovered the connection. If you're having trouble finding the Flux Sensor, you can view it from the secret Developer Room.
Find an Alien Blaster and Crashed UFO
There is a crashed alien ship that can be found in the wasteland, and a special weapon along with it. In order to reach it however, you need to have grown up to around level 20 to trigger a random event that occurs. (Some have claimed to be at a lower level and gotten the same result, but this is unconfirmed. Try to reach at least level 20 to be on the safe side)
When you are at the right level, head over to Greentop Nursery and then west towards Old Gullet Sinkhole. This will help trigger an alien spaceship to appear in the sky. You will see it flash and head towards the ground.
Start heading to Beantown Brewery and then go south of the brewery towards the rocky area that is towards the south, you'll notice some fire and destruction caused by the alien ship. If you are a bit loss when looking for it, look for any fire you can see in the distance.
When you discover the ship that has crash landed, look around for a trail of green blood that will lead you to a cave (the waypoint is called CAVE) that is close by.

When you reach the cave, you will find the green alien pilot there. It will attack you the moment it notices you. Its very weak to any sort of attack and will die easily. Loot its body to obtain the Alien Blaster Pistol.
Classic Games
Classic video games make thinly-disguised appearances as game tapes for the Pip Boy. The tapes can be picked up and carried at will.
The five classic game tapes include
- Red Menace - Donkey Kong
- Atomic Command - Missile Command
- Pipfall - Pitfall
- Grognak & The Ruby Ruins - Bard's Tale/Ultima
- Zeta Invaders - Space Invaders
Each game may be played at any Terminal that accepts Holotapes or on the Pip Boy itself.
The games are remarkably fleshed-out and sophisticated. Grognak, for example, is a full-fledged RPG complete with a party system, overworld map, and dungeons.

Jaws Death Scene
There is a reference to JAWS just outside of Oberland Station. On the waters you'll notice a large boat with a corpse and large sea creature inside. You can find a machete weapon near the corpse on the ground.
This setup is a reference to the death scene from the movie JAWS, where the character Quint is killed by the a large shark on the boat.
Ted on the Toilet
There is an Easter egg reference to the Seth McFarland movie Ted found within Back Street Apparel. You'll notice a teddy bear toy wearing glasses sitting on the toilet in one of the nearby bathrooms.
This is a direct nod to when Ted the bear, who does the same thing in the movie. You can take both the teddy bear and paper he is reading for your inventory and add them to your collection in Sanctuary.
