Wii U Virtual Console Customization
The Wii U Virtual Console version of EarthBound features the ability to customize button mapping, allowing players to set up the controls any way they desire. This version can be played using the GamePad, Pro Controller, Wii Remote, and Wii Remote + Classic Controller.
Wii U Virtual Console Menu
Accessing the Virtual Console menu on the Wii U version of the game allows players to enter the controller settings, create save points, and reset the game. EarthBound on the Wii U Virtual Console also supports Miiverse functionality.
