Naruto Animator Directed Some of Black Myth: Wukong's Epic Cinematics - IGN The Fix: Entertainment
Black Myth: Wukong is already shaping up to be one of 2024’s best-selling games, so it’s probably on your radar. The #BlackMythWukong animation of animator Cheng Xi Huang, who Black Myth: Wukong’s developer Game Science enlisted to help craft this incredible animation for the game. If you’re unfamiliar, Black Myth is a retelling of Journey The West, the epic chinese novel that was also the inspiration for Dragon Ball. The game follows the adventures of Sun Wukong, the mythical Monkey King, who like Son Goku, rides a flying cloud and beats up a bunch of dudes using a stick that can magically grow longer. You might know Huang for his work on Naruto, as well as tons of other popular anime like Chainsaw Man, My Hero Academia and Netflix’s Castlevania.
