San Diego Comic-Con is coming soon and IGN will be there in full force! After last year’s strike-affected event, 2024 is shaping up to be a return to form for the one of the biggest pop culture conventions in the world. Stay tuned for big announcements and teasers revealing which of your favorite franchises across sci-fi, superheroes, fantasy and more will be present at this multi-day event. You can expect the full SDCC line-up to be revealed starting Wednesday, July 10.
SDCC is known for bringing creators together across comics, film and television and collectibles to connect with their fans across panels, discussions and various art forms. If you’re interested in watching Comic-Con, we have all the details below - including when it starts, the schedule, and how you can watch any and all of the panels you might be interested in.
When Is SDCC 2024?
San Diego Comic-Con takes place at the San Diego Convention Center from July 24 - 28! See below for the actual in-person SDCC Exhibit Floor dates and stay tuned for a detailed breakdown of what panels are happening on each day.
How to Watch SDCC 2024 Livestream
Unless you’re attending in person (and got your badge before they sold out), Comic-Con coverage can also be viewed from the comfort of wherever you are across IGN platforms. IGN will be on the ground at the event starting July 24, reporting on and reacting to all of the news that comes out of the event. We’ll be sharing more details on what we have planned soon.
We’ll also be showcasing two days of livestreams featuring the biggest stars and exclusive reveals from the convention.

What to Expect at SDCC 2024
Along with the many panels that will be at San Diego Comic-Con this year, fans can expect to see interviews with the cast from Doctor Who, Transformers One, Rick and Morty: The Anime, along with Todd McFarlane, Bruce Campbell, and Ed Boon, as well as many others on our Friday live show.
As for Saturday, viewers will see us hanging out with the entire cast from The Boys on our stage, Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, Harley Quinn, LOTR: Rings of Power, Speak No Evil, Superman and Lois, and many more!
Will Marvel Be at Comic-Con This Year?
Yes, after skipping 2023, Marvel will be at San Diego Comic-Con with a special Hall H Panel this year.

Alien: Romulus
The iconic Alien franchise is returning to theaters in IMAX with a terrifying new entry, Alien: Romulus, on August 16. This new Alien film is directed by Fede ?lvarez, who’s behind horror films Evil Dead and Don’t Breathe. It’s produced by filmmaking legend Ridley Scott, behind epic films like the original Alien, Blade Runner, and Gladiator. Together, they are bringing the franchise back to its roots in more ways than one.
Alien: Romulus takes place between Alien and Aliens, and features the return of creatures like the Xenomorph, facehugger, and chest burster. Alien superfans Brian Altano and Akeem Lawanson will have a special clip to show during Comic-Con, so stay tuned to see it in the lead-up to the film’s release.
