Internally, the OnePlus 7T also features the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Plus mobile processor, which promises to deliver 15% faster graphics than the regular Snapdragon 855 found in OnePlus’ previous two phones.
Around back, you’ll find the OnePlus 7T’s new array of three cameras, whereas the previous model had a dual 48MP camera and depth sensor setup. Firstly, the main camera features the same 48MP sensor as the OnePlus 7 Pro that uses pixel binning to create a 12MP image with better detail retention and dynamic range. Alongside the main camera, you’ve also got a 117-degree ultrawide angle 16MP camera and a 2x zoom 12MP camera.
The wide-angle cameras can also be used as a macro lens thanks to a new Macro Mode that alters the lens’ minimal focusing distance to 2.5cm. So you can get right up to your food, jewelry, or what have you for a really up close shot.
The OnePlus 7T also comes with the company’s new Warp Charge 30T, which can recharge devices 23% quicker than the company’s previous charging brick. It also promises to fully charge the phone in just an hour.
Another great thing about the OnePlus 7T is it will come preloaded with Android 10 right out of the box.
The OnePlus 7T will be available on October 18 in Glacier Blue and Frosted Silver at OnePlus for $599. This base model comes with 8GB of memory and 128GB of storage. Kevin Lee is IGN's Hardware and Roundups Editor. Follow him on Twitter @baggingspam
