E3 2014: Ubisoft Holding Wii U Family Game Until Machine Is 'More Popular'

Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot says the game publisher has a couple games set for release on Wii U for Holiday 2014 -- Watch Dogs and Just Dance 2015 -- but that other releases will have to wait until Wii U is "more popular."

"We still have another game that we are waiting for the machine to become more popular before launch," Guillemot told IGN "It’s more addressed at families, and it’s not yet there. We are waiting for that machine to be more distributed so that we can increase the number of games."

Guillemot continued, "Mario Kart has done quite well. Smash Bros. is coming. We can, with hope, get it to come to a better level of sales."
