The Hero's Clothes -- Link's Green Tunic -- is one of the earliest rewards you get in the game, alongside the Hero's Sword and Hero's Shield.

Link receives the trademark green outfit from his grandma as part of the Outset Island tutorial section.

Note, on the second playthough, the Hero's Clothes are replaced with the Hero's New Clothes.
