Mother & Child Isles: Fire and Ice Arrows

Have you encountered Cyclos yet and gotten the song that lets you warp? If not, sail around until you see a large tornado. He is more likely to be found near the Tower of the Gods or Mother and Child Island. Let your boat get sucked into the whirlpool and aim up high with your Bow. Shoot the creature in the tornado three times and you will get the Ballad of Gales.

Play it and warp to the square southeast of the Forsaken Fortress (2 down, 2 right from the top left corner). You will land in the middle of a fairy island.

After a quick, but very creepy cutscene, you will receive the Fire and Ice Arrows.

To switch to Fire or Ice Arrows, simply hit the R button to change the arrow types when you've got the bow equipped (and you're aiming at something).

Use the Ballad of Gales again and transport yourself back to Dragon Roost Island. The island is very close to your next destination: Fire Mountain, which is just to the south of it.
