Southern Fairy Island

Blow up the barricade blocking entrance into the oversized shell. Inside, you will meet up with the Great Fairy.

In addition to healing your wounds and refilling your magic meter, the Great Fairy will (typically) bestow you with a bigger Bomb Bag. You can now hold up to 60 Bombs -- or 99 if you visited other wells first -- at once. Restock on fairies by filling your Bottles?and leave.

Note that this island is also home to the rare blue ChuChu. You can find it by the tree. Don't miss out on Blue Chu Jelly. You can also scatter the piles of leaves with your Deku Leaf, but there's just some money underneath, so don't go out of your way.

Close to the island, you will find some watchtower platforms. These are a great source for Joy Pendants, which you can steal from the pink Bokoblin pirates. But there's more here. Destroy the cannons on the two platforms (with ladders) with the help of your Bombs to make two treasure chests appear on the middle platform. Change the direction of the wind and float over to the middle tower with the help of your Deku Leaf. Open the chests. One contains a Skull Necklace inside, the other contains Treasure Chart #40.
