Minibosses
Minibosses are tough monsters in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild who appear at specific locations in the giant map of Hyrule. You'll know you're fighting a Miniboss when the name of the boss appears at the top of the screen, along with its health meter. Plus, each boss gets its own music and appears in various locations and forms throughout Hyrule.

Hinox, Blue Hinox Black Hinox Stalnox | These oversized red moblins have an obvious weak spot: their sole eye. Shoot the cyclops in the eye with arrows, but be mindful that it will shield its weakness with its giant hands after a while. Another great strategy is to run through its legs. It'll get confused and look for you, which gives you an opening to strike it a few times from behind. Don't stay too long as it'll try and squash you. You can also keep running away from it and drop bombs as you flee, then detonate them when the Hinox walks over them. Hinox can use large objects as weapons. For example, when you fight it in Faron, it'll grab tree trunks and try to toss them at you. Or it may use bones.
