Amiibo Unlockables and Rewards
Like other The Legend of Zelda games on the Nintendo Switch, you can use amiibo while playing Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom to grant different rewards, including random materials and even exclusive clothing outfits depending on which amiibo is used.
How to Use Amiibo
When playing Echoes of Wisdom, you can pause the game at any time and select the "amiibo" option to tap any amiibo from the "Legend of Zelda" series to your controller , which will then create a reward for you. Only amiibo from the Legend of Zelda series are applicable, and each can only be used once every 24 hours, and amiibo rewards can only be granted three times a day (unless you advance the Nintendo Switch internal clock).
Note that not all Switch controllers have NFC support. Some third-party controllers lack the feature. For Nintendo-made and official-licensed controllers with NFC support, the scan points for amiibo are in the following locations:
- On the analog stick on the right Joy-Con controller
- Above the Nintendo logo at the top-center of the Pro Controller
- On the right stick of the Nintendo Switch Lite

General Amiibo Rewards
Most rewards you will receive from the Legend of Zelda series amiibo will be five of a single random material (or two of a rare material) that can be used to create smoothies at the Business Scrub's Smoothie Shop. A full list of the possible materials you can get are seen below:
Bubble Kelp (x5) | Riverhorse (x5) | Refreshing Grapes (x5) | Electro Apple (x5) | Warm Pepper (x5) | Floral Nectar (x5) | Fresh Milk (x5) | Chilly Cactus (x5) |

Amiibo Clothing Rewards
In addition to general item rewards, you can also unlock exclusive clothing and costume outfits for Zelda to wear from amiibo, depending on which type of Zelda-themed amiibo it is.
Below is a list of known outfits and the corresponding amiibo that can unlock them. Once a particular amiibo type has been used to unlock a costume, subsequent uses on that save file will only give smoothie ingredients again:
