Mario-Style Jinx
Mario-Style Jinx is the final form of Mario's student in Monstro Town, and he wants to learn about Triple Moves! Upon defeating Jinx, you get the Teamwork Band, which increases the rate at which your action gauge builds!
Your goal in this skirmish is to keep your Attack Chain going as long as possible to get the boost to your Action Gauge. As soon as you hit Jinx with a Triple Move, the fight will end.
However, you have to deal with quite a few instant kill moves first. Jinx will dart behind you and hit for an instant kill with Silver Bullet, or attack from the front using a shoulder charge, which will probably do enough damage for an instant kill anyway.
Bring the Party members whose physical attacks you have the easiest time hitting consistently as that will give you the best chance to keep the chain going. Also, make sure you equip the Enduring Brooch that you got from the Bundt fight on at least one party member, and the Jinx Belt or the Quartz Charm on the others, as that will give you resistance against Instant Kill attacks.
Keep the chain going for as long as you can, and revive any party members that take a hit. Eventually you’ll survive long enough to unleash a Triple Move and the fight will end. You’ll receive a Teamwork Band for your trouble, which will increase the speed at which your Action Gauge increases.
Your next showdown is the final one: the big encounter with Culex 3D.
