Walkthrough
Hellblade 2 continues Senua’s story as she leaves her homeland to fight slavers. Like the first game, this sequel journey is a short one, clocking in at around eight hours. Our Hellblade 2 walkthrough will guide you through the whole story with information on collectible locations, puzzle solutions, combat tips, and more.
Hellblade 2 features shape puzzles, Hidden Faces, and Lorestangir collectibles that can be easily missed, even though the game is a linear adventure for the most part.
Do You Need to Play Hellblade 1 Before Hellblade 2?
In short, you should play Hellbalde 1 before playing Hellblade 2. Hellblade 1 (Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice) was released in 2017, and Hellblade 2 (Senua's Saga: Hellblade 2) is a direct continuation of its story. Although there is a story review option at the start of Hellblade 2, it consists of voice over and hard-to-read carvings, and does not explain Hellblade 1's story so much as to set the scene for the new game. Senua's character past and her unique abilities are not explained, which will be especially confusing to new players. Players won't find much of a difference in gameplay in Hellblade 1 vs. Hellblade 2, and the combat and other features are not complicated to learn from scratch or to relearn. Nevertheless, the story is the focus, and Hellblade 2 simply feels like more chapters added to the same game. We recommend that you play Hellblade 1 before playing Hellblade 2.
