Hidden Faces Locations

Hidden Faces are one of two collectible types in Hellblade 2, alongside Lorestangir. These faces require you to pay close attention to the game’s environments, as they’re often etched into walls or rocks. This guide will show you where to find all 17 Hidden Faces in Hellblade 2.

Senua’s voices will occasionally speak up and let you know when secrets are nearby, so listen well as you scan the environment for collectibles. Whenever you focus on a Hidden Face, a secret path will appear, leading you to a small tree that you also need to focus on. To help track your progress, each tree is full of notches that get filled one by one as you find Hidden Faces.

Freyslaug Hidden Faces

Freyslaug Hidden Face 1

There are two Hidden Faces in the second chapter of the game, but none in the first chapter. The first face can be seen after you obtain Senua’s mirror and use it in battle for the first time. After the fight, cross the long bridge and walk through the large house on the other side. The face is right next to a lone torch in front of a large house.

The second Hidden Face can be found after Senua rescues the stranger named Fargrimr from the draugar. Walk down the path after the two escape from the area, and make a left at the broken bridge to find the Hidden Face.

Raudholar Hidden Faces

There are five Hidden Faces in the third chapter of Hellblade 2, titled Raudholar (or Rau?hólar). The first face can be found as soon as you reach the giant crack in the ground on the way to the destroyed village. Follow the crack to the left and focus on the face circled in the image below.

The second Hidden Face is in the opposite direction of the first one. Return to the large crack in the ground and go right this time. Then, curl back so that you’re moving in the direction you came from at the start of the chapter. The Hidden Face is circled in the image below.

The third Hidden Face in Raudholar can be found after Senua conquers the darkness in her mind and speaks with Fargrimr about the Hiddenfolk. Collect the chapter’s second Lorestangir, then descend the chalk-covered ledges near Fargrimr. The linear path eventually branches, and you’ll see the third Hidden Face on the left.

The fourth Hidden Face appears on your right, just after you complete the first Hiddenfolk puzzle with the special stones. It’s a relatively large face that should stick out as you approach.

The fifth and final Hidden Face can be collected soon after completing the second Hiddenfolk puzzle. Make a right when the main path branches, then climb up two chalk-covered ledges to find the face lying on its side.

Huldufolk Hidden Faces

Huldufolk Hidden Face 1

There are four Hidden Faces in the fourth chapter of Hellbalde 2, and the first one appears at the very beginning of the chapter. Stay close to the left wall as you move through the narrow cave because the face is on your left, but the torch can’t illuminate it if you’re looking elsewhere.

The second Hidden Face in this chapter is in the same room as the second blue torch. As soon as you extinguish the torch, turn around to find the face hidden directly behind the brazier.

The third Hidden Face in chapter four comes soon after the second face. Turn around right after you drop down the large hole to find the face carved into a dead end. Walk closer to the wall to illuminate the face fully.

Huldufolk Hidden Face 4

The fourth and final Hidden Face appears just after the sequence when Senua is following the Hiddenfolk light without her sword. As soon as you’re safe, look to your left to find the face next to a bunch of floating rocks.

Bardarvik Hidden Faces

Bardarvik Hidden Face 1

Chapter five, Bardarvik (or Bár?arvík), contains six Hidden Faces, and the first one comes early on. Follow Thorgestr and Fargrimr until a small waterfall appears on your right. The face is right behind the water.

The second Hidden Face is found at the beginning of your walk with Astridr. Look to your right before following Astridr through a narrow crack in the rocks. The face is on the ground, out of sight.

The third Hidden Face is off to the right of the main path after you solve the first shape puzzle in this chapter. You’ll find it right before reuniting with Astridr.

Bardarvik Hidden Face 4

The fourth Hidden Face can be found right next to the third Lorestangir during the second shape puzzle in this chapter. Go through the narrow path, behind the blue mist, on the right side of the beach. We’ve circled the hidden path in the image below.

Then, after you collect the Lorestangir at the end of the path on the other side, turn around and keep an eye on the cave wall to your left. You’ll see the fourth Hidden Face on the left wall as you go to exit this small area.

The fifth Hidden Face can be found after the underwater section where you learn about Sjavarissi. Follow the torches along the main path until the road branches to the right. Walk up to the torch off the main road and turn right to find the Hidden Face.

The sixth Hidden Face is in the same stormy village as the fifth face. When you return to the main road, make a left before the next torch house. Walk up the hill, past the fourth Lorestangir, and turn left in front of the second house’s torch. The torch’s fire should illuminate this final Hidden Face.

This is the 17th Hidden Face in Hellblade 2, which means you’ve collected them all. You no longer have to look for stone faces on every wall while trying to focus on the story. Collecting all 17 Hidden Faces unlocks new features in the Extras section of the main menu.
