This Scorn walkthrough and guide includes every puzzle solution and tips for every encounter. Opening on a mysterious figure venturing through a vast, endless desert, Scorn's five-act journey will take players through a city of nightmares, seeing them solve puzzles, fight harrowing foes and uncover the mystery of an ancient civilization.

In service of creating an eerie, undefinable world, Scorn features no dialogue and zero on-screen tutorials (check out our Scorn Tips and Tricks for some help). Although that adds a lot to the atmosphere, it means the solutions to Scorn's hardest puzzles can be obscure. So, for those wanting a little guidance through the game's city of organic machinery, the walkthrough below will offer a breakdown of every act and its various challenges.

Note that you can check which act you're currently completing via the load option in the menu. The act listed at the top of the available save files is the one you're playing. From here, you'll also be able to restart any act by selecting it from the load-screen list. After selecting the act you wish to play, you'll start from the beginning of that section, with the protagonist carrying any ammo or health you had when initially reaching that point in the game.

Scorn Walkthrough

With Scorn being a mysterious experience that purposefully avoids defining its world, a lot of the terminology we're using for this guide has been invented by us. With that in mind, it can be easy to get lost if you're jumping in midway through the game.
