Pokemon TCG Pocket Events 2024: Current and Upcoming Event Schedule

There are several different event types in Pokemon TCG Pocket, including Emblem events, Wonder Pick events, and Drop events. Below, you'll find a list of every Pokemon TCGP event currently live, upcoming events, and events that are no longer active.

Note: ? indicates datamined events that have not officially been announced. Details of these events may not be accurate.

Venusaur Drop Event

Drop events give you a chance to obtain special promo packs by winning Solo Battles.

The Venusaur Drop Event features Venusaur as the highlighted Pokemon, and the Promo Pack has a chance to contain Greninja, Haunter, Onix, or Jigglypuff.

Black Friday Event

Discounted bundles of Poke Gold were added to the shop on November 22, 2024. The following items are available for a limited time:

• Reduced Price Poke Gold x75 containing:
  • 75 paid Poke Gold
  • 39 non-paid Poke Gold
• Reduced Price Poke Gold x30 containing:
  • 30 paid Poke Gold
  • 30 non-paid Poke Gold
• Reduced Price Poke Gold x250 containing:
  • 250 paid Poke Gold
  • 110 non-paid Poke Gold

Wonder Pick Events

Event shop tickets can be earned from Wonder Picks or by completing Wonder Pick Event missions, and can be redeemed in the event shop for themed rewards while the event is live.

Magikarp and Gyarados Event

A Wonder Pick event featuring Magicarp and Gyarados was rumored to run alongside the Arcanine event, according to PTCG Pocket. However, it seems this event has been cancelled or rescheduled.

Bulbasaur and Magnemite Wonder Pick Event

According to a datamine shared on Reddit, an upcoming Wonder Pick event will feature Bulbasaur and Magnemite.

Previous Events

During the Fire Pokemon Mass Outbreak event, players could get free Bonus Picks containing an array of Fire Pokemon cards, and Rare Picks featuring Arcanine ex, Charizard, and more.

There were also limited time missions to complete that rewarded you with Wonder Hourglasses for completing Wonder Picks and collecting Fire type cards, and a new Circles Flair (Battle): Yellow that could be purchased for your duplicate cards.

In emblem events, you battle other players to earn special emblems that can be displayed on your profile. In the Genetic Apex Emblem Event, players needed 1 win for a Participation Emblem, 5 wins for a Bronze Emblem, 25 wins for a Silver Emblem, and 45 wins for a Gold Emblem.

The Lapras ex Drop Event offered players a chance to obtain Promo Pack A Series Vol. 1, containing a randomly chosen card: Lapras ex, Mankey, Pikachu, Clefairy, or Butterfree.

The Meowth Wonder Pick event included specially marked Chansey and Meowth promo cards, and appeared as a Chansey pick in your Wonder Pick list.
