Piklopedia (All Creatures and Beasts)

There are a total of 125 species that need to be analyzed in Pikmin 4. When they're analyzed, you can find information about every creature in the Piklopedia. On this page of IGN's Pikmin 4 guide, we'll explain how to unlock the Piklopedia and what you can expect to find in this bestiary of all the creatures in the game.

How to Unlock the Piklopedia - Find Dalmo

In order to gain access to the Piklopedia, you'll need to rescue Dalmo. Dalmo is located on Sublevel 2 of the Aquiferous Summit in Sun-Speckled Terrace. This is the sublevel cave located in the northern part of Sun-Speckled Terrace. Smash through the Hydro Jelly right at the end of Sublevel 2 to find Dalmo inside.

Dalmo's Side Mission - All the Little Darlings

When Dalmo has been rescued and returned to the Rescue Command Post, you can unlock the Piklopedia. Speak to Dalmo to begin the All the Little Darlings chain of Side Missions. Dalmo will ask you to analyze all available creatures in the game, which will automatically happen as soon as you encounter them.
