Exploration Day 20: Giant's Hearth - Aerial Incinerator Cave and Ultimate Testing Range Cave

Back at Giant's Hearth
From the hearth base, go right and over to the reinforced wall. This is where you'll need the 3 Bomb Rocks to break it down. Inside it, you can find a dirt pile that needs to be excavated, as well as Sovereign Bulblax that's hiding under the ground. At the back of this section, you'll find the Black Onion needed to grow more Rock Pikmin.
Carry this back to the S.S. Beagle, then head back over to where you jumped into the Hot Sandy Duel Cave.
Black Onion
Go left (when facing the cave) and you'll be prompted that there's a contraption to switch on near the water. Send your Pikmin to extend the climbing stick and go up to press the button. This will drain the water near to the Dandori Cave, and allow you to take your Pikmina cross to get the treasures.
Grab a Firestarter, and burn down the bundles of straw around the first treasure.
Persistence Machine
Then go left to find a spiderweb. Behind here is the rubber duck to collect.
Universal Rubber Cutie
Follow this path around to the left, so you backtrack to where you picked up the Slapstick Crescent. On the right, there's a cave that needs a ramp to be built in order to reach it. Set your Pikmin to build the ramp, then go toward the second base you found just before the hearth.
As you make your way toward it, on the right, you'll see a raised bridge. Stop here, then bring the bridge down. While this happens, get a Firestarter and go underneath it to destroy the hay. Be careful as you do this, as mites will appear and attack.
When the area is cleared, cross the bridge to find the next Dandori Challenge cave and a Clay Valve that needs building. Get your Pikmin to build the Clay Valve and turn the water off before going inside the Dandori Challenge cave.
Aerial Incinerator (Dandori Challenge)
For this Dandori Challenge cave, we found starting south and working our way around it anti-clockwise was the best approach. You'll want to pick up a Firestarter as you go south, then light any fires to make it quick and easy to get another one at any time.
Leafling
As you exit the cave, turn right and kill the Arachnode. The water will be off now, so go down and toward the hole in the ground. Aim for the creature's eyes to get it to flip over and show its belly, then attack this to weaken it. When it's down, it will drop the next treasure.
Seed Hive
Now go back to the cave that needed the ramp built to enter it, and hop inside here.
Ultimate Testing Range
As you drop down into the Ultimate Testing Range, go forward, toward the spider and the first treasure.
Long Shot Totem
Turn left and hop on the floating platform to reach the second treasure.
Sphere of Trust
There's also a pile of Raw Material here to be taken back to the S.S. Beagle. Turn around and face where you just came from, then send 20 Pikmin to lower the bridge. Go up the slope to the right and have the Pikmin create a bridge back to the S.S. Beagle. Now go back down the slop, turn left, and break the wall down to get the Candypop Bud.
When you've got your additional Pikmin, go back up the slope and onto the platform to the right of the bridge that's being built. Ride this platform up to reach the second one and the third and final treasure on this sublevel.
Relentless Spear
When the bridge is built and all treasures are collected, make your way down to sublevel 2.
Sublevel 2
On the second sublevel, go left, take out the creature, and go up the ramp. Charge at the Miniature Snootwhacker, then pick up the pile of Raw Material. Send your Pikmin to collect the treasure on the left, then immediately turn right.
Straight-and-Narrow Track
Go forward and take out the rest of the creatures here. You'll see that there are iron fences raised on both sides, which will prevent the Pikmin from going further with the creatures' bodies.
Make your way through the iron fences on the left, excavate the mound to start the wind blowing, then travel up to hit the white button. When the iron fences are lowered, drop down and go forward towards the Miniature Snootwhacker and Withering Blowhog.
Clear this area out, then go to the left and through the metal bars. Pick up any Pikmin you need from the Candypop Bud, then look up and grab the controller treasure.
Telekinesis Detector
Now go down the lowest part of the area, and get the Raw Material, along with any additional Pikmin from the Candypop Bud. With the area now clear, it's time to move on to sublevel 3.
Sublevel 3
Jump into the wind that you'll see as soon as you land and then go left and right to take out the Arachnodes and the creatures in this circle. When this is done, go around to the right side of the area and approach the Waddlepus. When that's been dealt with, pick up the pile of Raw Material at the back of this area, and grab the two sword treasures from the middle on the raised circular ledge.
Heart Sword x 2
Now go right and use the moving platform to get to the other side. Go through the bars and walk underneath the spider web. Turn around and take the spider down to get the first of the castaways in this sublevel cave.
Continue on toward the box, take out the blowhog, and then send Pikmin up to collect the treasure on the right. Lower the box as you do this, then drop down and collect the pile of Raw Material. When this is done, use the wind to get to the exit and go toward sublevel 4.
Sublevel 4
Go left when you land in this sublevel and cross the walkway to the jellyfish. Take down the jellyfish, then go right and pick up the first treasure from the spiders.
Disk of Surprising Wisdom
When you have this, turn right and float over to the center using the wind. Build the ramp going up to the exit, and be prepared for another jellyfish creature to come over and attack.
Press the button to move the direction of the walkways, then go in the opposite direction up the walkway to get the Gold Nuggets and puzzle piece.
Gold Nuggets x 15 and Memory Fragment (Right Edge)
Now cross over to where the two walkways are running side-by-side and attack the two jellyfish creatures here. Pick up the pile of Raw Material, then head for the last sublevel.
Sublevel 5
On this sublevel, you'll need to fight against a Man-at-Legs. Its attack pattern is to drop a gun down from the center of its body, then shoot continuously for a while. Once it's finished shooting, it will lower its body, which is when you want to attack.
There are three walls around the outside of the arena. You'll want to use these each time it prepares to shoot, to shield you and the Pikmin from being damaged. When it's down, the doors will be lowered and you'll be able to get the last treasure and final treasure for this cave.

Back on the Surface
As you leave the cave, you should just have enough time to make sure everything gets back to the S.S. Beagle, but we'd recommend moving your base back to the second base next to the hearth that's closest to the last two caves you've visited.
This should give you enough time to collect a Firestarter and go to the side of the hearth opposite the base. As you go through the bars, you'll see another fire to be lit opposite. Throw the Firestarter over to light it, then drop down to the left and tackle the two spiders. This will get you one last treasure before the day is over.
