How to Quickly Level Up Your Pals
Leveling up your Pals in Palworld can take different forms but it follows the simple formula of raising their experience points to a certain threshold that will cause them to level up. There are various ways of doing this with some of them not even needing your full attention while others require you to work closely with them.
Nevertheless, your Pals are going to be out in the fields which means you'll see them put their hard work in real time!
How to Level Up Your Pals Quickly
Battle With Your Pals
One of the primary ways to level up your Pals is to battle with them. To do this, you have to make sure that the pal you want to level up is in your party. Then, you're going to have to look for an enemy you want to fight and then throw your Pal next to it.
You should see a little Red Cross Swords icon near the name of your Pal. This indicates that your Pal is now engaged in battle and will target an enemy near it. Upon defeating the enemy, you should be able to receive experience together with your Pal.
Make Them Work in Your Base
Pals don't need to fight to earn experience. One of the ways to make chores easier in your base is by assigning your Pals to work on some of the chores in the base. If you're interested in leveling up your pals this way, head to the Pal Box and you'll see a section there with a few circles.
You can drag pals from your Pal Box or your Party there to make them start working in your base. However, not all Pals can do everything in the base. You can check what kind of work they can do by highlighting the specific Pal in the Pal Box or in your party.
Put Them in Your Party
This is another way for your pals to level up without putting them out there to fight. Every time you do anything in the open world, you gain Experience Points. This is also true for your Pals as they will also gain a few experience points as long as they're in your party.
This can also lead to times when your Pals actually get to a higher level than you currently are. Pals you own that have a higher level than you do will "level sync" down to your level. You can see an indicator of this if your Pal's level is colored red in the party menu.
