Technomancer Guide - Tips, Skills, and Best Builds
The Technomancer is one of the four main classes in Outriders. This page contains information on the Technomancer Class capabilities, as well as guides on how to make use of their powers, skills to use, and the best builds for their class trees.

Increase Weapon Leech by 15%. |
The Technomancer is the dedicated long range class. With a bonus to Long Range Weapon Damage, this class ideally uses snipers from the back of the arena. Because of this, they also carry a number of defensive skills, such as turrets, proximity mines and Freeze effects.

Because the Technomancer is rarely up close and personal, they have to heal at a distance by using their innate Skill and Weapon Leech, which harvests a percentage of the damage they deal for their own health. This makes them an ideal Class for One-on-One battles with bosses and Altered combatants, as any damage dealt will keep their health in check.
However, put them in a crowd of melee opponents and they will quickly be overwhelmed. If playing this class solo, it’s important to remember to watch any approaching enemies, as more than one or two can quickly prove to be lethal.
Tips for Playing the Technomancer
- Like the Pyromancer, the Technomancer lacks the mobility of the Trickster and Devastator to move around the battlefield quickly. Because of this, you'll want to be ready to move out of harms way at a moment's notice, and some of your skills - like Cold Snap - are vital for getting distance on your opponents.
- Techomancers are a great team player with their ability to lay down support and even heal others - but don't be afraid to try them solo too. When playing solo, you'll want to be aware of your environment, and the best times and places to use your gadgets and turrets to help draw the attention of enemies.
- Because the Technomancer doesn't have to kill enemies to heal them, you can use this to your advantage by not forcing yourself into confrontations that leave you vulnerable. Disrupt, kite, and slow your attackers to pick them off from a distance and you'll still be healed along the way.
- Certain skills and abilities rely on your Techomancer to be in "long range" distance, so using sniper rifles is a must. Note that you can unlock nodes in the class trees that lower the "long range" threshold.

While the middle class tree can give you extra survival skills and a free res, the top skill tree can help you deal out an incredible amount of damage while keeping your enemies at bay.
For this build you should consider using the Blighted Turret and Blighted Rounds skills to increase your damage output on enemies and ensure you're constantly getting them poisoned (and healing). As well as the third skill which is best saved for crowd control, like Cold Snap, to get away from enemies who get too close.
With this build, you'll have access to increased damage with Sniper Master made only better with your Toxic Rounds, and Exposing Toxin ensures your hits will make enemies even more vulnerable to your attacks. While not necessary, you can also put points into Blurscreen to increase your health regen threshold, or focus on more damage output instead - whatever works best for you.
