How to Share Bases With Friends
If you’re playing with friends in Once Human, it may be easier to build alongside your friends rather than constantly manage your territories. Regardless of if you’re playing with friends or your Hive, you can add your friends to your territory and build your dream base together. Here’s how to share bases with friends in Once Human.
How to Add Friends to Your Territory
First, you’ll want to make sure you’re actually on each other’s friends list- once you’ve found them in-game, press the Z key and click ‘Add Friend’. Once they’ve accepted, you’ll be able to configure their permissions for your current territory by pressing U, switching to the friends tab, and clicking ‘Friend Permissions’. You can do this with Hivemates as well, which is particularly beneficial if you’re playing on a PVP server and want to keep your group close at hand.
Here, you can toggle your friend’s access to your facilities (smelters, workbenches, etc.), their ability to build, and lastly their access to your storage containers.
Be extra sure you want to give them access to your storage in particular because that will let them access everything you’ve stored in your chests, except for private storage crates and vaults.
If you have anything of value you want to hold onto, like silver ore, consider using those to make sure they don’t accidentally get used up by a friend while they craft.
