Stage 3-1
Pick either Luger or Templar for the next mission. Luger will not be able to take too much punishment so she will be avoiding some of Templar's firefights (the computer ally is invincible, so use them as you would your army buddy -- as a decoy). With Luger, your primary goal is to stay unnoticed and to use the machinepistol (MP) silenced single shot from far off to drop enemies. Not doing so will result in a lotta restarts.

Bring down the patrolling Helghast by either hiding behind revetments with Templar or with Luger's supergun (above, left photo). It's a simple exercise going through the dark tunnels. Look for a ladder, climb up and take a look at the snazzy Eye-talian style train depot under the Helghast gun (above, right photo). Haul ass up the side path and to the local HQ.
The commander will do some dialogue. In the mean time, amble over to the bench in the other room and grab the sniper rifle. Templar will need it now and Luger may want to use it (as opposed to getting close with an AR/S) later on. As Templar, you need to grab the sniper rifle and approach Luger until the AI starts moving into position to set the charge (above, left photo). The AI will move when enough Helghast are killed in the opposing building (above, right photo). Templar players should move to the other windows if Helghast do not appear and the AI is stuck outside.
Luger players can easily move under the garage door, sprint over to the metal door and press action on the door charge. Any Helghast can be dealt with using the MP's silent shots. Once the door blows, the whole squad may move out.
Templar will have to deal with a grenade soldier in the next area. Head down to the lower train station to trigger the Helghast ambush, then backtrack upstairs to take out the grenade soldier from the balcony (above, left photo). Luger can deal with the grenade threat early by going under the partly open shutter and shanking the fool from the back. Either way, once the train station is cleared, the next stage will be available.
Stage 3-2
Notice the heavy fog to deal with the rather abbhorrent technical specs? Use it to your advantage -- enemies in the distance will barely react to your presence if you zoom ahead and take them out using silent weapons. Templar will not have it so easy, but he may be able to get by with the sniper rifle. If you somehow left the sniper rifle behind in the train station, then haul ass to the first park tier's central monument to pick on up (above, left photo, on the right). The left side of the same picture shows you where a Helghast machinegun nest is. Head there and through the HG base to reach the second tier.
From the center, you can snipe all the HG patrols sent out (above, right photo). This is doubtful for Luger, since she can use her alternate vision mode and MP to take down Helghast without detection.

Your ultimate goal in the park is to find the tier exit (above, left photo) which connects each of the park's tiers to one another "in a traditional landscape style mixed with contemporary amenities of the post-modern public space". Basically the exit, but you can't get by with that language if you're an architect (i.e., a bullschnit artist who makes $100 an hour from doodles on napkins and makes off a snobby high-class jerk).
However, to get to the tier exit, you need to avoid or fight off any Helghast in the nearby camp. Basically, if you find an HG encampment, you're probably near the tier exit. Before you leave the first tier, head past the HG camp (if you have the park wall and tier exit on your left, head straight) and you can find some hand grenades and ammo for Templar's AR/G in an outdoor gazeebo (above, right photo).
The second park tier will have some ISA buddies who will be in a nearby outdoor gazeebo. They'll start attackin neaby Helghast, most likely the ones in the plaza area (above, left photo) which is kinda in the opposite way to the third tier. Head in the opposite direction (unless you want to clean house) and look for a HVAC like structure (above, right photo). This is near a bridge that leads another island with a Helghast camp. Surge through "le campe" and find the tier exit.
An ISA pilot will call in asking for assistance with some AA guns upon entering the third tier. Some bullcrap dialogue will ensue while you start killing the fifty thousand Helghast who will suddenly be actively alive. Make for left of the two AA guns (above, left photo, this is the right gun by the way) and kill the gunner. Take care of the other AA gun. Take all the time moving up since there is no real time limit. Use the right AA gun to mow down the reinforcing Helghast. Not using the AA gun will result in a restart since there are about six billion Helghast who assault your position.
When you survive the attack (and the fighter blows the HG dropship), you can leave for the next stage. Locate the burning wreck of the HG dropship (above, right photo) and go 'round back (just like the Sex Farm for Sex Hookers as profiled in 'Eye on Springfield'). You'll find the fourth tier and a mid-stage movie.
Stage 3-3
The AI Rico will take out the tanks automatically (above, left photo) so you should simply hide in the copse and stay hidden until the shooting stops. Since ally AI cannot die, any time they are available, you should make them suck up hits and do the killing if only to save ammo. Some bull will occur and you'll need to shoot up the gatehouse where Vaughton is supposedly held. The gatehouse is well defended by elite Helghast with LMGs (above, right photo). Wipe out the rest of the enemies with all your ammo -- this is the last firefight for this episode. Enter the gatehouse to end the stage.
