This van is visually similar to the Chevrolet Express series of work vans, but what is confusing is that in the GTA series, Vapid is the made-up name for Ford.

After the "Chop" mission, Franklin has the opportunity to get and keep Lamar's white Speedo van. This version of the van has a unique licence plate, which reads "Lamar G". Might qualify the van a "keeper" for a certain type of GTA gamer.

Also, Lamar's van has a faded and blotchy white paint job. After saving it in the Grove Street 4-car garage, the paint job will become glossy and clean, except for the roof, which remains blotchy and dull.

The Speedo can enter Los Santos Customs and Beeker's Garage, but only for repairs. There are no modifications available. This is the only vehicle in the "Vans" class to behave this way. All other Vans-class vehicles are either locked out of the custom garages completely, or are allowed to enter for both repairs and mods.
