New Weapons Within 'The Contract' DLC

Not only are some of the new weapons introduced in this update very powerful, but are also relatively unique in comparison to their brethren in their given weapon branch. Most of the weapons listed below, as with most weapons within GTA Online, can be heavily customized, from extensions and refinements to colors and patterns on the decal.

Stun Gun

The Stun Gun is a long-anticipated addition to GTA Online, and Rockstar has finally given you the option to purchase it through your Armory in your Agency building. It is available for $341,250 and is unique in its capacity to stun and incapacitate both AI and player characters. It won't serve many practical applications, but is a fun and unique way of messing around with the game world and your friends!

Heavy Rifle

A new rifle, holding 30 rounds at its base level; it is average across the board, but can be heavily upgraded with extra investment. It will cost you $409,500 in your Armory in the Agency building. Realistically the only practical weapon on this page, the Heavy Rifle is much like the Advanced Rifle, albeit with a slower fire rate, compensated by slightly more damage.

Compact EMP Launcher

A new Heavy Weapon, the Compact EMP Launcher is similar to the Stun Gun in that it doesn't seem to serve many practical purposes. In specific events/minigames, it could prove useful in stopping vehicles, but outside of that, the only consistent upside of this weapon is that it is great at deactivating enemy helicopters mid-flight. It is available for purchase for $477,749 from the Armory in your Agency building.
