How to Unlock the Exclusive Dodo

Players returning to GTA 5 on PS4 / Xbox One from the previous console release in 2013 can unlock several exclusive vehicles, including the classic Dodo seaplane which first appeared in Grand Theft Auto III and Vice City.

The seaplane is in a cove about halfway up the eastern seaboard of San Andreas, northeast of the quarry outside of Los Santos. Inside the cove, the Dodo is being guarded by six gunmen in boats - eliminate them before boarding the plane, then taxi out of the bay and take off over the heads of the gang memeber's reinforcements.

Take To The Skies

GTA V sees the return of aircraft in the series, the omission of which was one of the most common complaints in GTA IV.

The new aircraft are designed purely for the vast size of the new game map, which is bigger than anything Rockstar has done before.?

The following aircraft types have been confirmed from screenshots and trailers. Please note the name of the aircraft may be correct, as many of these are purely speculation.

Most planes and helicopters can be purchased from elitastravel.com on your phone in game once you own a private hangar or helipad.

Shamal

Private jet the can be purhcased from the online market from the phone for $1,150,000.It can also be found and stolen in The Los Santos International Airport.

Luxor

A private jet that can be purchased from your phone for $1,500,000.It can aslo be found and stolen in the Los Santos International Airport.

Duster

Small bi-plane that can be purchased from the online market from your phone for $275,000.

Maverick

A helicopter that can be purchased from the online market from the phone for $780,000.

Cargobob

Militay helicopter that can be stolen from Fort Zancudo or purchased from your phone for $2,200,000.

Cuban 800

This is the plane that is used for delivering the weapons from Trevor's airfield and can be bought from the phone for $240,000.

P-996 "Lazer"

Stolen from Fort Zancudo. Has two weapons on it, missles that lock on to police and military vehicles (unsure of regular vehicles) and a set of cannons.

Titan

Can be stolen by either parachuting or driving onto Fort Zancudo, just be careful when the alarms are going off as tanks and soldiers will be swarming and can make it difficult to fly out.

Atomic Blimp

Some copies of the game have a code that when redeemed will give you a phone option to call for the blimp and pilot it.

Buzzard

Can be stolen from Fort Zancudo or bought from the online market from the phone for $2,000,000.

Mallard

Bought from the market on your phone for $250,000.

Frogger

A helicopter that can be bought online from your phone for $1,300,000.
