Lancel Lannister
Lancel Lannister is the oldest son of Kevan Lannister, Tywin Lannister's younger brother.
He served as King Robert Baratheon's squire by the advice of his wife Cersei. Lancel gave Robert the strongwine that eventually led to his demise.
After Robert's death, when Jaime is held hostage by the Starks, Cersei takes him into her bed. Although the affair elicits strong emotions from Lancel, Cersei eventually grows bored and rebuffs him.?

Tyrion Lannister suspects the affair and gets Lancel to admit to it, blackmailing him into spying on Cersei for him. Lancel is present for, and survives, the Riot of King's Landing. He fights in the Battle of Blackwater, though he is severly injured. For his services he is named the new Lord of Darry. During A Feast for Crows, Lancel takes his lordship of the lands of Darry and is ambivalent as to rumors of his new wife's promiscuity. Jaime visits Lancel at castle Darry and under questioning Lancel admits to having slept with Cersei as well as to having supplying Robert Baratheon with the strongwine. Shortly after Lancel leaves his wife and castle in order to swear service as part of the newly reformed Faith Militant.
